"Watching and observing." That is to say, when the five branch winds do not arise the immediately preceding five consciousnesses, when arriving at the second moment, the consciousness of the second moment takes the wind of the second moment as its mount, and focuses on external objects such as form. Whenever one awakens from sleep, reversing the state of sleep, or possessing the three appearances that enter into all appearances of objects, that is, the three appearances arise, and when that itself is moved by the mount of wind, all those self-nature conceptualizations, whatever meets with the corresponding object, without exception and without omission, enter into it, that is to say, when meeting with an object, everything is possible to happen. This is its meaning. These explain the cause of the arising of object appearances and the cause of the arising of conceptualizations. As a subsequent reason, those winds that are the mount of conceptualization are moved by the movement of the mind, and whichever wind resides in whichever chakra location and does not dissolve, that corresponding self-nature conceptualization will arise. As long as that wind that has become the mount ceases to flow, the conceptualizations will not move, therefore they will not move in the three non-conceptual appearances, but will abide therein. Although the above-mentioned teachers explain this as the cause of the arising of different conceptualizations, "without exception and without omission" means that after arising from the three appearances that enter into a special time, all those winds exist, and all the seeds of conceptualization are also slightly nourished, but as previously stated, in accordance with the conditions of focusing on objects from the sensory pathways, that corresponding conceptualization will arise, therefore it is not because of the existence or non-existence of individual winds that the corresponding conceptualization actually arises or does not arise. Therefore, this explains the reason why the three appearances arise or do not arise after the dissolution of conceptualizations. Since the nature of things is such, therefore, when practicing the path, through the solitude of the mind, the first two are: the first and second groups of conceptualizations gradually cease, because they arise from abandoning coarse conceptualizations, therefore it is the ground of the first appearance, and the ground of the increasing appearance, that is, the meditative practice that is the cause of both, is determined by contemplating that one can accomplish it through the object of oneself, that is, oneself, by means of yoga with skillful means, and how to obtain the appearance, that is, the category of conceptualizations.

Even the last is abandoned. In particular, the four attainments are all in accordance with emptiness, just as all conceptualizations are cut off from the root in one's own time. The reason for this is that all subtle winds of one's own nature must also be gathered and dissolved into the central channel. It is not accomplished by one's own body with skillful means alone. Both one's own body with skillful means and the karma mudra of another body become limbs of that cause, which is necessary. Regarding the meaning of this treatise, some previous appearances have been obtained, as if arising from reversal. To explain that reversal arises from the two, appearance and increase, is not the meaning of the words of this treatise, and it is not related to all the meanings of the words above and below. Therefore, the place where appearance is obtained, the two internal orders, must rely on the karma mudra. Furthermore, like illusions, the means by which wisdom arises from focusing and meditating, etc., are all from, that is, among all, women. The illusion of the karma mudra is particularly excellent. The distinction of the three wisdom appearances is extremely clear and ultimate. It is clearly shown by this karma mudra, and not by others. The wisdom of appearance is desire itself, the wisdom of increase is non-desire itself, and the wisdom of attainment is in between, that is, equal parts. These three arise from the equal union and combination of the powers of vajra and lotus. This is the characteristic of the three appearances mentioned above in the Five Stages and the Condensed Practice, which is merely arising, and there is no certainty of relying on the karma mudra. However, the ultimate manifestation of those characteristics requires the karma mudra. Mainly, from the opposite of the name of bliss, such as desire and non-desire, the three appearances are generally only bliss, and especially the aspect of melting bliss arising from the wind entering the central channel. Although they exist, the three must have the karma mudra to fully generate the characteristics of desire, non-desire, and the absence of both. The reason for this is that although the power of one's own body with skillful means is completely perfected, the subtle channels, winds, and bindus are still unmoved. Through the union of the karma mudra, those channels open, those bindus melt, and all the winds residing there are drawn and dissolved.
