Because when abandoned, the continuum is severed, it is also impossible to have a continuous progression in the three, ground, path, and result. Moreover, the teachings of the Vajra Peak Sutra are not in the context of explaining the classification of the three tantras, which are summarized by cause, means, and result. If one contemplates the nature of samsara, then that nature is not samsara. Furthermore, many Tibetans say: The causal continuum is the nature of samsara, and the mere absence of inherent existence in samsara is the nature of samsara. To say this is very unreasonable, because the non-entity that is characterized by negation is neither a real cause, nor is there any reason to establish it as a cause, so it cannot even be a necessary imputation. The mere absence of inherent existence is universal to all things, so it is impossible for it to exist only on samsara. Therefore, it is meaningless to apply the term "absence of inherent existence" only to samsara. Moreover, the Buddha as the result is also the absence of inherent existence in samsara, so it would be a fault for you to be a causal continuum, and that is not what you believe. Because for a non-entity, neither the reality of continuous existence nor the consistent aspect is complete. If you think that there is also an absence of inherent existence that exists only in samsara, then what is such a dharma like? When you examine it in detail, it becomes impossible for such a knowable to exist. Furthermore, some say that there are two kinds of causal continuums: emptiness, which is characterized by negation, is the main part of the causal continuum and is also the ultimate reality. They also acknowledge a mere self-aware wisdom, which is a temporary nature and only an ordinary reality. The former is to be ascertained and is the main object of meditation, but the latter also needs to be meditated upon and ascertained. The reality, which is the nature of the cessation of elaboration, is related to the stainless fundamental mind, which is the alaya-jnana and exists at the ground stage. It exists in the coemergent great bliss and is the proximate cause of the Buddha's mind. The form of the enjoyment body, which is empty and has form, that exists from the ground stage is the proximate cause of the form body. Those are not truly permanent, nor are they truly established by reason, but they are a continuous permanence and a truth that does not deceive in matters of necessity. The way to meditate on it is also...

For the realm beyond conceptual elaboration, beginners need a corresponding way of holding, so emptiness is the object of grasping of the holding, and empty form is the appearing object with the aspect of emptiness. In this way, the two middle turning wheels of Dharma and the two great chariots can also be established without contradiction. They say that in this way, the fault of abandoning the Dharma is avoided. Other great wise ones also have statements that are consistent with this view. This is better than the previous two statements, but there are still inconsistencies. It is unreasonable to establish the immediate cause of the Dharmakaya only on the uncontaminated mindstream, but to establish it on the uncontaminated mind characterized by the pacification of conceptual elaboration is a statement without analysis. If there is an uncontaminated mind whose nature is inseparable from conceptual elaboration, it is true that it should be said in order to cut it off, but that is impossible. If only the uncontaminated mindstream is the causal continuum, then it is very contradictory to regard the mere absence of conceptual elaboration as the main part of the causal continuum. Because the mere absence of conceptual elaboration is considered to be the reality of all dharmas, there is no need to be associated with the mere uncontaminated mind. According to your view, the empty form that is originally established is also without self-nature. Its lack of self-nature would lead to becoming the cause of the Rupakaya, and if you also think so, then it contradicts the direct display and the main content of the display of the middle turning wheel of Dharma, that is, the nature of reality, the non-negation, is the main part of the causal continuum of the Dharmakaya. For the non-existent, the meaning of cause and the meaning of continuum are not complete, and it is nothing, and it is impossible to cling tightly to only one characteristic of the existent, and the faults mentioned earlier also apply here. If the cause continuum of the Dharmakaya, which is merely free from conceptual elaboration and not related to the uncontaminated mindstream, and the freedom from conceptual elaboration, which is not related to the original empty form, is not the cause continuum of the Rupakaya, then it does not act as a cause for either of the two Kayas, but it is very contradictory to admit that it is the main part of the causal continuum. Regarding how practitioners practice, it is believed that the intelligence with the holding of preventing the two selves must precede, which contradicts the views of the Indian and Tibetan Madhyamika masters.
