The Hinayana practitioners hold the grasper and the grasped as different entities, consider appearance as subtle ignorance, and meditate on the non-inherent existence of the grasped as an antidote. The Madhyamaka-Prasangika practitioners consider the proliferation of clinging to characteristics as subtle ignorance, and meditate on emptiness as nothing whatsoever as an antidote. The Madhyamaka Mahamudra Sutra practitioners consider habitual patterns as subtle ignorance, and meditate on self-knowing, self-illuminating ultimate reality as an antidote. The Madhyamaka Mahamudra Tantra practitioners establish the easily changing and transforming habitual patterns as the ultimate of ignorance, and meditate on the path of the four empowerments of self-knowing union as an antidote. Thus, the consciousness with a mode of apprehension that blocks proliferation cannot prevent subtle ignorance. As the King of Tantras also says: The vajra of the mind, separated by real and unreal, does not give pleasure to the yogi. Whoever embraces the wisdom of space, abiding in the coemergent bliss, that is liberation. Furthermore, the "Brief Exposition of Views" also says: The aggregates analyzed are emptiness, like a water tree without essence. The emptiness that possesses all supreme aspects does not change in that way. And so on, extensively taught. The Hevajra also says: Self-knowing is the nature of purity, not liberated by other purities. In its commentary, the great accomplished one Ocean-Born says: Pure by the purity of one's own awareness, the nature of great bliss, not liberated by other purities such as the perfections. The uncommon characteristic of self-knowing wisdom is explained as great bliss in the tantras. The Five Stages also says: The wisdom of mere self-knowing is like the sky, without characteristics. However, there is a distinction in this: it is the nature of the boundary between night and day. The explanation of mantra as protecting from mental signs and concepts, etc., is also a statement showing that there are conceptual distinctions that the Paramita Vehicle cannot protect from. The obscuration to be abandoned is also the habitual patterns of transference, which are not explained in the Sutras, and the means of abandoning them do not arise from the Sutras. The Master Nagarjuna's "Discrimination of the Limits of Bodhi Activity" says: Even giving away the head and limbs, etc., because the appearance is not completely pure, the fruit of Bodhi

Will not be obtained. It is said that the obscuration of appearance is the habit of transference mentioned above, the three appearances of appearance, increase, and attainment, and the three appearances of sun, moon, and Rahu have the same meaning. There are still many ways to accumulate merit that are not mentioned in the sutras. Therefore, what is the most important thing? The unchanging innate bliss of the body is taught in the Mantrayana. Thus, among the two accumulations of merit and wisdom, the accumulation of discipline is especially widely explained. Here, it is said that "the bliss of the body," and it is considered that the stainless arising of the bliss of bodily sensation is the profound and vastness of mantra, which is a great ignorance, because the unchanging bliss is not the bliss of bodily sensation. In addition, there is much to be studied about this. Thus, from the four aspects of view, obscuration, path to be cultivated, and accumulation of merit to be attained, the characteristics of secret mantra are distinguished. The "secret mantra" mentioned in these places is a general term, because the words are concise, it must be understood as Anuttarayoga, and other lower tantras should also be inferred from this. These are mainly the stages of the path, but in the case of dispelling wrong views, the relationship is very important, so it is said. Secondly, to explain the specific conditions of the body, the principles of the formation, dwelling, destruction, and protection of the body need to be understood from the chapter root commentary in the King of Tantras. Here, only the rough parts that are useful for those who practice yoga are explained, that is, the classification of the known as channels, winds, and bindus, and the explanation of the death omens of the sun, moon, and Rahu as the objects to be abandoned. The first part includes the three classifications of channels, winds, and bindus. First, the classification of channels: This Vajra body has countless channels, such as 420,000, etc., but these should be known: From the secret place to the crown of the head, the upper end of the Avadhuti (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) existing like a lifeline is directly inserted into the crown of the head, and a thick branch from there is inserted into the eyebrows, and a thin branch is inserted into the Brahma hole. The two channels of ro and rkyang also run from the crown of the head to the secret place, located on the left and right sides of the central channel. At the center of the six chakras of the crown of the head, forehead, throat, heart, navel, and secret place, the small branches of the left and right channels and the central channel are connected to each other, forming connected pipes.
