, from the crown chakra, the two channels, right and left, branch out into various sub-channels, entering the eyes, ears, and nostrils, with the nostrils being the primary pathway for breath. Eight finger-widths from the navel is the secret chakra, and from the navel at the lower boundary of that chakra, the thickest part of the lower end of the central channel slightly leans to the right, going towards the front. The lower end of the left channel also slightly leans to the left, pointing forward and entering the urinary passage. The right channel occupies the central part, curving backwards and entering the anus. From the crown to the secret place, the right and left channels extend to the right and left respectively, and the fine branches are the small veins branching out from the three channels of the navel, connecting to the kidney veins. Similarly, branching out from the secret place, they also connect to the veins of the navel. From both of these, the veins of the hips, thighs, and so on, up to the soles of the feet, branch out. From the navel, they go upwards and connect to the heart chakra, and branching out from the heart chakra, they connect to the veins of the armpits, thus generating the veins of the arms, both right and left. The ends of these veins gather in the throat. From there, the veins of the uvula, lips, ears, nose, tongue, eyes, and so on, are generated, and they connect again to the crown chakra. In the five chakras from the navel to the crown, where the three central channels connect, there is a slight coiling at the navel. Each of these chakras has four directions, each with four veins holding the power of the four elements. In the crown chakra, there is only that one, without any distinction of inner and outer layers. The other four each have four petals, and from each of these, two branch out, so the second layer has eight petals each. The heart chakra has only that one. The forehead and throat chakras each branch out two from those, so the third layer has sixteen petals each. The forehead chakra has only that one. The throat chakra branches out two from the sixteen, so the fourth layer has thirty-two petals. The navel has eight petals, with two branching out from each of the four directions, and no branching from the four corners, so the third layer has twelve petals. From the two petals in its directions, five branch out from each, and from the four petals in the corners, six branch out from each, so the fourth layer has sixty-four petals. Each of the ends that branch into six is called the vein where the Dakini descends. The secret place has a wheel

Due to the power of holding the energy of six years of rain, the inner circle of channels and petals born from the lotus has six. From those five, each splits into two, so the middle circle has ten channels and petals. From those eight, each splits into two, so the outer circle is said to have sixteen channels and petals. Also, if the ten middle circles each split into three, there are thirty, and two split from the central navel, so it is also said that the outer circle has thirty-two. However, both are not contradictory, because sixteen is looking upwards, and thirty-two is said to be the difference of facing downwards. When traversing one hundred fifty-six channels and petals, according to the sixteen outer circles, only the outer circles of the other chakras are counted, and all three levels of the secret place are counted. According to the thirty-two outer circles, it is the outer circle of all chakras. It is also not contradictory that the secret place has a different way of traversing than the other chakras, because in generating faults and virtues, the secret chakra alone has equal power with all five other chakras, and there is a reason to explain it. From these, the channels that hold the white element, such as phlegm, are twenty-four thousand, and the channels that hold the red element, such as blood and bile, are twenty-four thousand, and the channels that hold the dark wind element are twenty-four thousand, totaling seventy-two thousand. These are combined with the six realms, and are generally considered to be the pervasive wisdom. If the five realms are considered to be the pervaded, then only wisdom is prajna, and the five realms are skillful means. If wisdom and consciousness are taken as symbols of union, then both space and wisdom are the pervasive prajna, and the four elements are the pervaded skillful means. The former is that the three vajras are pervaded by the fourth, wisdom, and the latter is the certainty that body and speech are pervaded by mind. If these are combined with the six chakras, then the navel chakra is earth and the heart chakra is wind, which are skillful means and wisdom. The throat chakra is fire and the forehead chakra is water, which are skillful means and wisdom. These small chakras symbolize union in an uninterrupted way. The crown chakra is space and the secret place is the union of wisdom, which is the way to combine skillful means and wisdom to include the great pervasive ones. If the forehead chakra is placed as wind and the heart chakra as water, then this is done from the perspective of generating and withdrawing the elements. Among them, the navel and forehead chakras are earth and wind, skillful means and wisdom, and the throat and heart chakras are fire and water, skillful means and wisdom. In any case, earth and fire are the wheel of wisdom.
