If it is said that the ground is deluded, then, it is also unreasonable that you Madhyamikas also want to be liberated from the clinging to reality by meditating on the illusory conventional, and it is also unreasonable that the Mahamudra masters meditate on the co-emergent appearance and think that they can be self-liberated, because they are meditating on the deluded appearance, and they cannot reach the reality. They said that there is no such fault, because even though it is a deluded appearance, they do not cling to it, but recognize it as emptiness. Again, they said, then why can't we also not cling to empty form and recognize it as emptiness become the path? Therefore, let's just say that it seems deluded to you, but the appearance that arises from the practice of the path obscures the reality, and the impure karmic appearance does not obscure it. And this, if good and bad behaviors are realized as emptiness, then realization and non-realization are the same, and even if realization and non-realization are the same, they do not make the distinction between realization and non-realization, but are filled with greed for non-virtue, meditating on deities, reciting mantras, practicing morality, and various experiences, they think that they are contrary to non-fabrication and non-action, and that they are on the wrong path, and that they are filled with greed for sins, fighting, distraction, desire, and that these hatreds are cultivated through non-fabrication, are the cause of liberation, these statements are contrary to the intention of the Buddha, entering from darkness into darkness, and are like yakshas and rakshasas. If you think that such similar sects do not exist in the tenets of the great chariots, that is true, but from the past to the present, most of the people who hold this sect always say one thing and mean another, and clearly lead beings astray, and if they do not have their own fundamental tenets, then the absence itself will destroy you, not only contradicting the Dharma, but also contradicting your own tenets. Again, they are told, is there no non-deluded appearance? If not, then there is no liberation, or liberation will become deluded, and become unreliable. If you think that all appearances are deluded, and that what does not appear is not deluded, then how can the complete absence of appearance be non-deluded? Because it is like a rabbit's horn, there is nothing. Again, they say, there is non-delusion, it is mind.

If it is thought that this is the appearance of self-arising in an instant, then the ten signs will not be confused, and the reason is for this. Because (this appearance) is used to experience bliss-emptiness and non-discrimination. If it is said that mind-nature does not arise by itself, it is because it has not been seen that (they) do not engage in eating, drinking, wearing, and walking, etc. Such a situation will not occur for you either. If it is thought that these are held by meditation, so there is no fault, then we are also held by meditation, so what fault is there in that? In this way, the claim that empty-form is an illusion is refuted, and the reason for proving that it is not an illusion is as follows: empty-form is a non-illusory appearance, because it is the object experienced by the noble ones, and (empty-form) can abandon attachment to this phenomenon, and for the supreme yogis, this appearance will become more and more vast. The second debate has been eliminated. The third is that most of the ancients, as well as Dharma Lord Sonam Gyaltsen and some others, also believe that empty-form, the ten signs, etc., are neither illusions nor ultimate truth, because they are the self-appearance of the mind of the seer, so they are the conditioned truths of the path. This view is better than the previous one, but it is not entirely correct, because in the root tantra it says: "Gathering separately is the great seal, the nature of empty space." And the venerable Avalokiteshvara also said: "All forms arise from space, Samantabhadra is all-powerful, abiding in the nature of all sentient beings, the joy of being born together." etc., these are all explanations of the nature of empty-form. Naropa also said: "All the various forms of the three times of the mind are not real, because they do not possess the nature of past things, etc., and they transcend the nature of particles." Therefore, the statement of conditioned phenomena is refuted. Teacher Nyima Pal Yeshe said: "The Dharmadhatu is space, the emptiness that is complete with all kinds of forms." In the Commentary on the Essence of Light, it says: "Thus, merely the appearance of the mind, the Dharmadhatu is called the Great Seal." Therefore, like this, since the objects such as empty-form are explained as the nature of reality, they are the path.
