The term "earth form" refers to the name for the complete manifestation of the ten signs, displaying various images of the three realms. As stated in the "Empowerment Summary Teaching": "Various images shine with light." Just like that, focusing the mind single-pointedly on such an empty form is the essence of meditation. Knowing the ten objects and subjects as one, that is, the five empty forms of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch, and the consciousness that sees them, are inherently one in their true state. However, during the stage of gradual absorption, one sees distinct dualistic appearances. At this time, when the realization of the actual practice of the limb of meditation arises, the obscuration of dualistic appearance is slightly thinned. Therefore, during the samadhi of the meditation stage, the experience of the empty form and awareness merging into one taste arises. At this time, in general, it is not that the manifestation of duality on the empty form and awareness is abandoned. Therefore, the existence of dualistic manifestation and the realization through the way of experiencing oneness are not contradictory. The function of meditating in this way is to completely abandon external objects. It is also the arising of certainty drawn from experiencing the empty form as devoid of external meaning. Moreover, relying on it, one also gains confidence that all karmic appearances of the three realms are not established externally. Furthermore, by holding luminosity on appearances through the oral instructions, one can repeatedly prevent impure appearances through the power of the appearance of the empty form, which is also clearly shown by this. Therefore, during the stage of gradual absorption, one makes visible a complete scene with the ten signs and the images of the three realms that one has not seen before. But at this time of meditation, one focuses single-pointedly on what has already been seen, thereby making it grow higher and higher. In both of these limbs, meditation is mainly practiced from the aspect of non-conceptualization. In general, the later limbs are also inherently the path of non-conceptualization, but they are mainly practiced from the aspect of the yoga of winds and bindus, etc. The first two limbs are the same in that they are placed from the aspect of non-conceptualization, but gradual absorption mainly practices the emptiness of the nature of mind, which is empty of elaboration, and

In general, it is most important to equally settle in the nature of the inseparability and oneness of form and mind. The great mudra of empty form obtained through these two limbs is the deity of definitive meaning. As it is also said in the glorious Guhyasamaja Tantra: "Mantras such as form and sound, The mantra practitioner should always contemplate as the deity. Or contemplate on that, It should be applied in the manner of lineage." Therefore, the deities of empty form, sound, smell, taste, and touch should be contemplated by the yogi of the completion stage. If one cannot do so, then for beginners, one can also practice through other methods of aspiration and mental activity such as the generation stage. Some say that in withdrawal, one sees empty form by binding the functions of the five senses; in meditation, by binding the functions of the mind, it becomes clear and coarse, and one fully sees the self-arisen deity, therefore it is the path of the completion of the Vajra Body, but it is not so. Because the practitioner who has generated the limb of samadhi in his continuum also has the limbs of withdrawal and meditation in his continuum. If it is said that the Vajra Body is completed from that, it is barely acceptable. But that is because of the combination of the two, it cannot be said that withdrawal is not completed and meditation is completed. The way to combine the functions of the five senses and the mind in sequence is also not applicable here. If only the limb of withdrawal has arisen in the continuum, and the limb of meditation has arisen initially, then it is not reasonable to fully see the self-arisen deity and to complete the Dharma of the Vajra Body, because it will be completed simultaneously like a vajra. It is not permissible for the body to be completed and the speech not to be completed, etc. Similarly, when the path of meditation is first obtained, it is called the stage of meditation. At this time, it is also not permissible to bind the function of the mind, if one thinks of binding various parts of the function of the mind, then the time of withdrawal is also binding, because the mind quickly enters the realm of non-discrimination. Moreover, in the continuum of binding the five consciousnesses, it is also necessary to prevent the discrimination of the mind, because the five have stopped, so the subsequent minds also stop. If the main part of the function of the mind has stopped, then it is meditation.
