The order of twenty-one thousand is exhausted by the order of dualistic appearances. Fifth, this Vajra Yoga is also called the Path of Direct Perception, as stated in the King of Tantras: Whatever is the object of the deity, it becomes twofold: direct perception and subsequent inference. Direct perception is the enjoyment of the complete body through the union with it, like stars in the sky. If there is no direct perception, then subsequent inference is like a dead body, not its essence, what can be observed? It is to be viewed in paintings, etc., and is the meaning to be meditated upon by yogis with immature minds. Thus it is said. In the Glorious Stainless Light, it is said: The body of complete enjoyment is to be grasped by the eyes of flesh, etc., and the three realms and three times are like dreams or illusions. Thus it is said. Among them, the deity's body arising from the familiarity of meditating on conceptual thoughts such as the generation stage, and the colors and shapes of letters, bindus, channels, winds, etc., and all meditations on emptiness and compassion, etc., which are the causes of conceptual thoughts, are all yogas of subsequent inference. This clear appearance of emptiness and form, the Great Seal, without conceptual thought, is called the Path of Direct Perception, which gathers all the stages of completion into the Path of Direct Perception. Moreover, based on the five eyes, direct perception transforms into four types, which will be briefly explained below. Sixth, this union is also called the self-arisen deity of ultimate reality, because the created deity's body is not self-arisen. Therefore, this union of great bliss and emptiness is also called the deity of ultimate reality, as it is said: This is the self-arisen Bhagavan, the one and only supreme deity. Thus it is taught in many tantras such as the Illusory Bliss Supreme. Similarly, in the Glorious Secret Accomplishment, it is also said: The deity substance of one's own awareness, the Great Seal is most excellent. Thus it is said. The Sanskrit word for deity substance, "doda di bya," means supreme or unsurpassed, and the Sanskrit equivalent for supreme mudra is "dhi bya mudra." In the Praise to the Vajra of Mind, it is also said: Because sentient beings have various inclinations, towards the objects of various deities, the precious mind...

It is said in the Liberation Sutra: "There is no other deity to practice." The Sri Hevajra Tantra also says: "Thus, without discrimination, the accomplishment of divine substance will arise." The quote from the Hevajra Tantra, Aryadeva also led to the purification of the mind's obscurations, saying: "Whether one has not entered the mandala, or even if one has all the obscurations, by uniting with one's own chosen deity, even if the merit is small, one will achieve." Thus, abiding in the yoga of the ultimate deity, even if one has not previously entered the mandala of form, and the methods of practice of conventional truth, and the merit generated by purifying the continuum with other paths, one will achieve the desired accomplishment, which is the meaning that comes along the way. Seventh, this yoga is praised in the tantras of the glorious Vajradhara as the ultimate of the path and the fruit, the Mahamudra. The King of Tantras says: "The mudra is in accordance with illusion, like the image in a mirror in the mind and the sky. The three realms appear, immaculate like lightning, not emitting rays of light. There is no difference between the outside and the body, separate from objects and distinctions, only appearance abides in the sky. Embracing the nature of the mind with the mind, the one with many forms is the only one." And "The heart is with defilements and co-born karma. This mudra and the wisdom mudra of observation have been abandoned, and for the sake of perfect enlightenment, the Victorious One has no obscuration with the mudra of the supreme mother. Without change and equal to space, destroying darkness, pervading everything, the realm traversed by yogis, truly exists. The splendor of wisdom seizes the defilements of existence, and following the wheel of time, one should cultivate wisdom." Thus, the yoga of emptiness-form Mahamudra itself is the supreme mudra that generates all Buddhas, that is, the Mahamudra. In the Immaculate Light it is also said: "Transcending the nature of subtle particles, possessing the nature of subtlety, possessing the excellence of all aspects, I prostrate to the Mahamudra." Thus, the one named Mahamudra is the generation stage and the hand mudra, etc.
