Although there are many divisions of settling meditation and so on, in this ultimate vehicle, the only vipassanā is to rest evenly, without fabrication, in the emptiness of forms, sounds, smells, tastes, tactile objects, appearances, and the various experiences of body, speech, and mind. As it is said in the Prophecy of Intentions, "The inner dharmas such as forms are called vipassanā because of seeing." Thus, if one rests evenly on this path of the union of śamatha and vipassanā, all the happiness and excellence of samsara and nirvāṇa will arise. Furthermore, the meaning of "mostly abandoning the elaborations of virtuous actions" in the text is that, in general, virtuous actions do not become obstacles. If one cannot rest evenly, or if one has gained stability in resting evenly, the more one strives in the virtuous actions of body and speech, the better. However, for the time being, in this stage of generating samādhi when it has not yet arisen, doing many things becomes distraction and fatigue, preventing samādhi from arising. Because this stage is about striving to accomplish great samādhi, if one cannot manage both, one should abandon those and enter samādhi. As it is said in the Bodhicaryāvatāra, "If strength wanes and is related, one should abandon it for the sake of future matters. Having taken well, when desiring future matters, one should abandon the former." Just like that, exerting too much effort in many things that cannot be accomplished is a fault of diligence. Therefore, as an antidote, it is said to abandon, meaning to abandon many thoughts and focus on one. In this way, repeatedly practice the objects of focus for a few days and learn the practice definitively. Also, have them meditate through the method of dry practice. Then, when they are ready, before entering the sacred dark retreat, there is also a tradition of sometimes performing a torma empowerment for the purpose of receiving blessings. It is said that they do not do it for others except for a few important ones. Later, they mostly do not do it. Although it is not absolutely necessary, since it is the lineage of the practices of the previous masters, it is obviously good if one can do it occasionally. If one does not do the torma empowerment, that is the end of it. If one does it, then after that, one does what is known as offering the body mandala. That is, the students gather, the teacher sits on a high seat, and on mustard seeds or flowers, or whatever, one recites many times Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:唵), Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), Hoḥ (藏文:ཧོཿ,梵文天城体:होः,梵文罗马拟音:hoḥ,汉语字面意思:吼), Haṃ (藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:航), Kṣaḥ (藏文:ཀྵཿ,梵文天城体:क्षः,梵文罗马拟音:kṣaḥ,汉语字面意思:恰) and places it. Oh, if you want to see Pari, look from Tsuri.

This is about posture. Please take a good look at the postures we maintain, and then show each posture to the students. It is also said that, as mentioned before, the body is free from actions, but it is not that any posture such as lying down or leaning is acceptable. A posture that is perfect and binding is needed. A posture that is in accordance with the key points mentioned in the Dharma is needed. For beginners, this posture is the most important for generating samadhi. In the biographies of many great masters, it is also said that at a certain time, proficiency in posture is a way of generating special qualities. Some people say that if one practices well, the sitting posture does not matter. If meditation is stable, it does not matter even if one does not do the posture. But even then, in order to further enhance the qualities, it is not that posture is not needed. There is no one higher than the enlightened Bodhisattva Prince Siddhartha, but he did not lie down, nor did he fall, nor did he lean, nor did he walk back and forth, nor did he look around, but maintained the posture and became enlightened in the state of the three isolations. Now, unless it is really impossible to adapt to the posture, one must sit in the vajra posture oneself. In the "Stainless Light Sutra," it says, "By the determination of the guru, at the time of meditation and at the time of praising the desired deity, praise the vajra seat to the Buddhas as many times as the number." The reason is that the ro rkyang channel travels in the center of the leg, and the tip of the channel is between the soles of the feet. When the two legs cross each other and bend, the air flowing through that channel stops, and the lower channels are bound. When the spine is straightened, the central channel (rtsa dbu ma) is straightened. The chakras overlap each other, and the air flows in their respective positions. The bindu (thig le) also stays in its respective position. If the body bends forward, the central channel will meet the wind element channel in front, causing heart wind and other winds to enter the body, consciousness floats, and delusions arise. Similarly, if you lean to the right, you will meet the fire channel, which will cause confusion, generate anger, and cause blood heat. If you lean to the left, you will meet the water element, which will cause desire, and cause cold and phlegm. If you lean back, you will meet the earth element, which will cause consciousness to become dull and cause mixed diseases. Leaning.
