Explanation completed. Those merits and wisdom of the gods are repeatedly practiced and constantly familiarized. Because all wishes are fulfilled, they are called "accumulation." This is also derived from the etymological explanation of the Sanskrit language, and this meaning also exists in Tibetan. Accumulation is gathering, because it is suitable to accumulate many and it is good to accumulate, so it must be accumulated, hence the name "accumulation." Those who have accumulated a large amount of merit and wisdom in previous lives and enjoy the fruits of their actions, achieving great virtues, can easily practice no matter how they do it. But for those who are not like this, they must strive to practice from small virtues. These are the general meanings of the two accumulations. In addition, in the Kalachakra and the "Heart Commentary" and other scriptures, from the uncommon special point of view, three accumulations are also explained, namely the accumulation of merit, the accumulation of discipline, and the accumulation of wisdom. Merit is mainly benefiting others with great compassion, similar to actions such as generosity. If viewed from a more important perspective, the generation stage, activity rituals, and common achievements are the special features of the tantric tradition. The accumulation of discipline refers to the melting, bliss, and immutable means that appear in both the generation and completion stages. The accumulation of wisdom is generally similar, but the ultimate characteristic is the combination of complete perfection and immutability. This is also the ten perfections: generosity, skillful means, and aspiration are the accumulation of merit; discipline, patience, and diligence are the accumulation of discipline; meditation, wisdom, strength, and knowledge are the accumulation of wisdom. From perfecting these three accumulations and the ten perfections, one can achieve the supreme perfect Buddhahood. As the Root Tantra says: "The accumulation of discipline is completely perfect, merit and wisdom are also complete, those who have attained the ten perfections, the perfect Buddha enters the three times." Therefore, it is said. In addition, let me add some supplementary explanations here, among the precepts of Bodhisattvas, there is one called "the precept of gathering good dharmas," that is, learning all the paths of good dharmas oneself, so that one's own continuum is completely matured.

It can also come. The discipline activities of benefiting sentient beings, and for other sentient beings, also arrange for them to do good deeds according to their abilities, without interruption, and it is necessary to do things that mature sentient beings. If these two aspects can be done but are not done, it is the fault of the Bodhisattva and will damage the discipline. When the time is right, it must be done. In addition, it is also necessary to do good deeds from many aspects and accumulate merit. Because of the purity of aspiration, the excellence of the place, and the difference in the purity of good deeds, even small actions will produce great results. For example, in the 《Arya Khang-bu brtsegs-pa'i mdo》, it says: 'Kungawo, if someone makes a square mandala of the Tathagata, that person will become the lord of the northern Kuru continent, and after the body is destroyed and life ends, I say that he will be reborn among the thirty-three gods.' Similarly, making a round mandala will result in rebirth as the bull-donor and the god of non-conflict; making a crescent-shaped mandala will result in rebirth as the lord of Jambudvipa and the Tushita heaven; making a chariot-shaped mandala will result in rebirth as the lord of Jambudvipa and the Paranirmita-vasavartin heaven. The mandala mentioned here is the mandala (Tibetan: མཎྜལ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: मण्डल, Sanskrit Romanization: maṇḍala, Chinese literal meaning: altar). These sutra statements also incidentally show many meanings of offering. Just making the surface of the mandala, or just offering a flower, will also result in rebirth as a small local ruler, or a deity of the Four Great Kings lineage. If the mandala offered is double, triple, or quadruple, it will become the lord of two, three, or four continents, and it can also be understood as the meaning of rebirth as the Paranirmita-vasavartin heaven. Moreover, there are also Chakravartin kings who are reborn in the other three continents that have not been mentioned in the Abhidharma. Generally speaking, Kuru continent is considered to have dull faculties, while small Jambudvipa is considered to have sharp faculties. But for the other two continents, there is no mention, therefore, it should be understood that the northern Kuru continent is inferior to the western, the western is inferior to the eastern, and the eastern is inferior to the southern, which is established from the perspective of sharp faculties. Similarly, the merit of cleaning temples and other places can also make one's own mind happy, make others' minds happy, make the gods happy, accumulate great merit, and will be reborn in the heavenly realm, which has five merits.
