As previously stated, it is indicated by reciting "Three Places of Movement, Body Vajra," etc. Correcting breath disturbances through gentle filling and releasing of breath is as follows: As it is said, "Press down on the right and left armpits and breasts, thereby suppressing life. From the right to the left channel, it flows rapidly; also from the left armpit to the right. With a half-moon posture, it can also cause death, seizing the signs of death; the yogi should practice thus." This is how it is shown. Filling and Kumbhaka (vase-like) are: Closing the mouth, inhaling all external air through the two nostrils. Bending with the force of life, similar to immaculate lightning, combining with the downward-clearing wind. This is how it is shown. Its benefits are: Body, food, etc., eliminating hunger and thirst, and even attaining immortality. Thus it is said. Furthermore, in "Immaculate Light," it says: "Through the combination of exhaling, filling, and Kumbhaka, one should constantly practice." Thus it is shown, therefore it also indicates all the different key points of life-force practice. Here, Kumbhaka is the main one, so it is necessary, and others should also be combined as appropriate. In order to temporarily prevent life obstacles, Enjoying desirable qualities, generating direct perception of the six senses, subduing humans and non-humans, etc., one will obtain a set of six divine wind realms. Imprinting the meaning of meditation on the mind, such as in one session. Thus, the guidance on life-force practice is completed. Second, explaining the guidance on holding, which includes: the key points of practical experience and imprinting the meaning of meditation on the mind. The first part includes the actual key points of holding and the ritual of increasing accumulation. First, as mentioned above, through the combination of Kumbhaka, one causes life to dissolve into the bindu of the central channel. The Kumbhaka during life-force practice and holding is similar only in the aspect of Kumbhaka, but the Kumbhaka of life-force practice is practiced to block the path of decay and mix with the downward-moving wind, while here it is to dissolve the wind that has already mixed with the downward-moving wind into the bindu of the central channel. For this, the Kumbhaka at the navel is the same as before, however, during this meditation that is in accordance with holding, it is merely repeatedly intending that the breaths dissolve into the bindu at the navel.

The difference in doing so lies in this. The twenty-sixth contemplation. Similarly, the vase breathing of the heart center is almost the same as this, except that when the vase breathing of the navel center is finished, the breath is drawn to the heart center, and the two hands are crossed behind the back, combining the posture by pulling the thumbs of the vajra posture from left and right. The twenty-seventh contemplation. The vase breathing of the throat is: With legs crossed in the lotus position, place the elbows inside the knees, interlock the fingers and press down on the back of the head, turning the head. Inhale air from the mouth, exerting force directly on the back of the head, pressing the collarbone with the throat. When exhaling, send the breath directly towards the throat. The twenty-eighth contemplation. The vase breathing of the forehead is: almost the same as this, but the two hands still pull from the crown of the head as before. The difference is that air is also inhaled from the mouth and pressed upwards into the depths of the palate. The twenty-ninth contemplation. The vase breathing of the crown of the head is also the same as this, except that the contemplation is focused on the crown of the head. The thirtieth contemplation. The secret vase breathing that appears only in the oral instructions is: supporting the anus with one heel, and pressing on the genitals with the other. Place the two hands behind the buttocks, placing them at the point where the pulling distance is measured. With the face facing upwards, hold the breath forcefully and for a long time. Exhale downwards many times from both the anus and the genitals, while pressing both the downward-moving air and the upward-moving air below the generative wheel. The thirty-first contemplation. Some believe that beginners should not practice vase breathing above the heart center, but there is no harm in practicing moderately. If beginners are to practice, they should do so as follows: After about twenty navel center vase breathings, perform one or two heart center vase breathings, that is, the navel center vase breathing is counted in the heart center, then lowered again to the navel center and exhaled. The breath of the throat, forehead, and crown of the head, although not drawn upwards to the navel center, must be lowered to the navel center when exhaling. Then, at the end of all these, perform one round of secret vase breathing. If there is a risk of breath wandering, then at the end of the heart center vase breathing, tighten the upper body and emit a "Ha" sound. At the end of the throat, close the mouth, lift the breath of the throat and exhale. At the end of the forehead and crown of the head, block the nose, lift the breath of the head and exhale, and so on.
