It possesses the ten powers of qualities, etc., and the nature that is inseparable from the very beginning. Although women and men, etc., appear in various forms of the three existences in conventional truth, they are not the actual entities of men and women, etc. What is that unchanging basis of bliss? It is the sole basis of all limitless forms. Above bhaga, the letter E is the source of the excellent Dharma arising. You are the supreme bhaga who possesses all ultimate conventional forms. I prostrate to you! Again, I prostrate to you, adding the sound of repeated prostrations. The meaning of these is only briefly explained here; detailed knowledge should be obtained elsewhere. The ritual of the torma is as follows: In general, the tantra commentaries mention the tormas offered to the lords of the land, lords of the village, sixty protectors, dakinis, and yoginis. These are clearly explained in their respective contexts. Regarding how to offer during mandala accomplishment and offering, the Great Commentary says: On the powder mandala, arrange the signs of the previously mentioned rituals. In a charnel ground, properly place the mandala and vases, etc., and consecrate them. Offerings are made to the desired deities with incense, etc., and then the torma is given to the field protectors, etc. Here, the field protectors are the lords of the land and lords of the village. Because it was mentioned at the beginning, those smaller than them can be excluded from the "etc.", but there is no clear explanation of those larger than them. The Vajra Heart Drop Commentary says that offerings should also be given to the guardians of the directions, such as Indra. Although this tantra and commentary do not mention the transcendence torma other than the ten wrathful ones, it is mentioned in the Vajrapani Topknot Commentary. Therefore, the mind commentaries should supplement each other, because their intentions are the same. In general, it is good to offer the transcendence torma even to the Kalachakra. However, in this case, offerings are made to the sixty protectors represented by the guardians of the directions, the dakinis, and the lords of the land and villages, and incidentally, offerings are also given to all obstacles and spirits. Therefore, this is what is now known as the outer torma. In this case, the Lhawa and Shongpa people of Tibet make tormas both internally and externally. Internally, they offer tormas to the dakinis and wrathful deities, or just the sixty protectors. Externally, they offer tormas to the field protectors, etc., and other

Various different sects have slightly different practices in terms of inner and outer distinctions. However, here, the Omniscient Dharma King (Tibetan: ཀུན་མཁྱེན་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ།) has said: Here, for those who are not qualified to view the mandala, the so-called "outer torma" is a misunderstanding of some Tibetans, the noble ones have not said this. However, in all mandala rituals, the teacher gives the torma at the four intervals, and then asks them to leave. Thus it is said, and its ritual has already been described. Other scriptures also say: If there is someone, placing the Dharma friend who practices in the mandala, and then coming out himself, offering tormas to the desire gods and Ishvara, etc., this is not because of the reason of not being qualified to view the mandala, but because of other reasons such as sending the tormas to various directions, and this is also allowed here. Thus it is said. The meaning of saying this is that there are outsiders in the mandala rituals of other tantras, and there are none in the Kalachakra system, it is not like that, but at this time Kalachakra and others are no different, the tormas must be sent to various directions, and for the convenience of practice, offerings and tormas are arranged outside the mandala house, because the torma offering ritual is performed when offering, so it is called "outer torma", for those who have vows, the torma is given inside, for those who do not have vows and are not qualified to view the mandala, the torma must be given outside the mandala house, so it is wrong to say "outer torma". Also, the yogi Kunsnying (Tibetan: ཡོ་ག་པ་ཀུན་སྙིང་།) said that because they follow the outside of the mandala, they offer to the directional guardians and others who reside on the outside. Jaya Sena also said: The lords of the directions who came together with the Bhagavan. And so on. I think that, in general, the teachings of these two panditas cannot be taken as a basis, and even if they can be taken as a basis, it is only to say that offerings are made to the directional guardians and others who reside on the outside of the mandala who follow the outside of the wisdom being. In general, for non-humans, the protective wheel of the mandala is an obstacle, but for the house where the mandala is built, there is not so much obstacle.
