Above, there are strings of pearls and so on, and crocodile heads and so on. Since they are not mentioned in this tantra, they are not absolutely necessary. However, as a common practice, it doesn't seem contradictory to do them. Thus, the materials that meet the standards are gold, silver, copper, and so on, and those mentioned as materials for the phurba are also acceptable, so do whatever is appropriate. Here too, the essence arises from the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), and the main thing is that the Kālacakra itself appears in the form of a vajra. Fifth, regarding the remaining part of the bell. The tantra says: The bell is also the same, divided into three parts, the upper part is similar to a vajra, with the shape of a bull's face and a lotus. It also says: The mouths of the bell are also the same, the petals are also vajras, and the bull's face and so on are also the same. Here, the vajra bell refers to a bell named after the vajra. The height of the bell is twelve fingers, which is divided into three parts, the upper part being half a vajra, the middle part being the position of the mouth, and the lower part being the belly. The term half vajra refers to the horns, which is the same as before. The middle part is divided into three parts, the upper and lower parts are lotuses, and the middle part is measured. That is, from the four bindus, understand the aspect of wisdom, and the four gates of liberation are purified, so there are four mouths. Or the bell is the syllable Ā (藏文:ཨཱ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:ā,汉语字面意思:阿) completely pure, and in order to proclaim the sound of the Dharma, there is one mouth. That is, a bell with four vajra mouths also has four mouths, and if the vajra has no mouth, then the bell has only one mouth. Both the vajra and the bell have both peaceful and wrathful aspects, so there are four vajra families and four bell families, and there are also distinctions of nine points and five points, divided into eight types, or various types according to the distinction of horns. The width of the hairline division of the bell's belly is the same as the thickness of the vajra's horns, and then the mouth gradually widens with a slight inclination for three fingers. For the peaceful one, it is a bull's mouth, from that division, the height is about half a finger, protruding outward about two grains of rice, and then the edge of the mouth is half a finger inward about one grain of rice. In this way, the bull's mouth is named after the peaceful vajra at the top. Or it is the mouth of a blooming lotus, the space between the three fingers of the belly is the same as above, and then the height is one finger, the width is between half a finger, more than before.
