Furthermore, it is sufficient to use its own color, and it is not necessary to change it to white. If it is made of earth, it is said that the color should be changed to white. For each action: gold, silver, copper, iron, and crystal should be their own color; skulls smeared with ashes from the charnel ground and human fat should be black; and earth and wooden vases should be yellow. Second, the measurements of the vase are: for pacifying and increasing, the belly should be round, with a width of sixteen fingers. The height of the belly itself should be fourteen fingers. The total height of the vase should be twenty fingers. The hanging lip should be two fingers. The height of the neck is generally six fingers, but two fingers are below the hanging lip, so it is four fingers. The width of the mouth is eight fingers. Dividing it into three parts, the middle two parts are the opening of the mouth, which is the cavity of the throat. Each half on the left and right is the extension of the mouth, that is, in essence, it is divided into six parts, with the middle four parts being the opening. Roughly calculated, five fingers are the opening of the mouth. The width of the edge of the mouth is two and a half fingers each. The measurement of a finger here is also based on the size of the thumb. For the action of subjugation, the special height of the belly is twelve fingers. Generally, the thickness, length, width, and height are the same, all sixteen fingers. The height of the neck is four fingers. The thick hanging lip is two fingers. The width of the mouth is six fingers. For expulsion and separation, the belly should be small, that is, the circumference should be twelve fingers. The neck should be eight fingers, with three curves. The lip should be one finger. The height should be twenty-four fingers. The width of the mouth should be six fingers, with one-third being the opening. For killing, the skull should be made into the shape of a bird's egg, with the hand hole being the mouth of the vase. Some also think that the skull should be assembled into a vase, but that is not good. Others think it is a skull bowl, but the skull bowl is: for the action of killing, because it is a great victory, it seems necessary to distinguish between the vase and this great victory, so the former saying is appropriate. For magnetizing, because the craftsman's method is different, there is no fixed shape or measurement. For bewilderment, although it is not clearly stated, it is similar to subjugation. For all actions, it should be the same as any of the three: pacifying, increasing, or magnetizing. Among them, the vase should be without roots and blackness, meaning: if it is an earthenware vase, there should be no black spots when it is fired, and except for magnetizing, the others should be without roots, that is, without a base. Changing to white is: with white sandalwood glue, or with rice paste.

It is smeared with milk, or even with white earth. Third is the number of vases: According to the rules of this tantra, after building a great mandala, if the conditions are good, it is not said to be less than five, and if there are many, it can be equal to the number of deities, or even more, up to infinity. However, the number of five or ten is the most important. In general, in this tantra, the vases with the same form and name are five or ten, and the ones with different forms and names are: on the side of five, there is the victorious vase, which is the sixth; on the side of ten, there is the great victorious vase, which is the eleventh. These two vases have the name of a vase, but the form is a conch, a dharma implement, a skull, or a vessel for offering water. Therefore, the great victorious vase must not be the form of a vase, the eight vases of the eight directions and the vase of the victor must be the form of a vase, and both have the victorious vase. On the side of the five vase forms, the victorious is the conch dharma implement, and on the side of the ten vases, it is the form of the vase itself. If it exceeds ten, one more is the main deity parents, two more are the parents respectively, three more are the main deity parents and the general assembly of attendants, four more are the heart mandala and speech mandala of the attendants, two each, five and six are the speech mandala, one each for the body mandala, and the great bliss wheel should also be done separately. Or five are the main deity and the four families, six are the six families, etc., up to the number of six hundred and thirty-six deities. If it exceeds this number, the types are distinguished by making ten vases for the main deity, etc. But what is most needed now is any one of five or ten. Moreover, making multiple vases is for the consecration and the empowerment of supreme accomplishment, as well as all activities and pacifying, increasing, controlling, and subjugating. For the remaining activities, no more than ten vases are allowed. Ten vases have the great victorious, and five vases have the victorious. For consecration and so on, between pacifying and increasing, use the conch dharma implement, for the three of killing, expelling, and separating, use the skull, for attracting power, use copper and gold, for ignorance and stiffness, use an earthenware bowl, which is what was said before. These also have the distinction of pervader and pervaded. The tantra says: Dragons and four kinds of treasures, golden vases, etc., the king is the nature of the earth, possessing jewels. Thus, the side of ten vases is the pervader.
