Therefore. Just repeating the word "because" and using it as a reason. They say that after the original line, it is never permissible to draw the working line. These speakers, although they pride themselves on being very intelligent, lack the discriminating wisdom to distinguish between immediate affairs. There are still many who can draw five to thirty deities or so very accurately without relying on lines, just by eyesight. If by wisdom, even in cases where there are very many deities, such as the entire Kalachakra, there may still be intelligent people who do not make mistakes in eyesight. What need is there to mention the sharp-minded people of the past? To this, you think like this: even those with such broad wisdom do not have such eyesight, what need is there to mention others? This is truly a foolish manifestation of arrogance. Some followers also think that after drawing lines on the Kalachakra, one must prepare the deities. As it is said in the commentary: "Here, after drawing the lines and becoming familiar with all the places of the deities, then offer incense and flowers, etc., and then begin to scatter colored powders." It is said that this is empty talk because no scriptural basis has been found. The meaning of this is that because the lines have been drawn well, all the abodes of the individual deities have also been familiarized, that is, they have become pure and without error. After that, offer tormas to the sixty protectors and yoginis or dakinis, and then it means to scatter colored powders. Therefore, the remaining deities in this context refer to praying to the Buddhas, which has been clearly stated before the preparation of the five substances, so it should not be listed here. Again, some think that even if that is the case, but because there are few people with accurate eyesight, there is no way not to draw lines before the remaining deities. This term of not confusing the remaining deities is only known among later Chinese and Tibetan scholars, so the basis is very weak. In particular, in the Kalachakra system, it must be considered in this way. Even if it is not necessarily needed in one's own system, one should not abandon other systems and the teachings of the gurus. Therefore, some Chinese and Tibetan mantra practitioners involve many foolish people in the work of lines and colors.

For the sake of happiness, drawing lines before making a statue and recording it is to avoid confusing the remaining positions, so only dry lines are drawn, and no line drawing ceremony is performed. The work lines are drawn later. The later Tibetans considered drawing the work lines once as completing two things at once, which is an erroneous practice of the Lama's Dharma. How can this be the essence of correct practice? This is actually trying to prove the error with effort, and saying that there is no error, thus becoming hypocritical. In all the Chinese rituals, lines are drawn only after the remaining positions, and not only the wisdom lines, because white lines must be drawn. Except for a few very brief rituals, there is no reason not to mention the work lines. Those that are not clearly stated are showing the work lines and wisdom lines together. Therefore, the rule of other rituals is to draw the work lines first and then bless them with the wisdom lines; or to draw the wisdom lines with the mind first, and then draw the work lines at that time for distinction. But here, there is no distinction between work lines and wisdom lines, it is only called Vajra lines. Therefore, there is no reason to require a line drawing ceremony before making a statue, and it is harmful, so do not cling to wrong views. Now, the indispensable prayer ceremony here is this: In the sky, visualize the निश्चितस्थान (niścitsthāna, definite place) of prayer, the complete Kalachakra Mandala, which has always existed. Visualize the immeasurable Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who are without निश्चितस्थान (niścitsthāna, definite place), pervading inside and outside in all directions, and then arrange vast offerings and bless them, offering offerings and praises. Pray for the sake of drawing the mandala of the three lines such as "sentient beings", and only think of giving permission, the offerings should be abundant. This is the direct instruction of the Tantra commentary, so it is true and flawless, possessing all virtues, without excess or deficiency. The direct instruction for entering the mandala is: Later, when rituals were performed in Tibet, the arrangements were beautiful, but the elaboration of words was not excessive.
