It is the sequence of the mother's oral instructions, and both 'Bro (卓) and Shong (雄) also think so. So, for the sake of empowerment, (it is said) that the demons should be subdued. Isn't this a vow to subdue the demons again? If you think so, this is "subdued" is the meaning of the past, adding "to do" is a word of the future, upright people are showing the weakening of sound in order to prevent attachment to the meaning of words, similarly, I said from the demons, after gaining victory, draw the mandala. If it has the same meaning as what was said, then the meaning of that sentence is that the victory over the demons has ended, and you are the witness to this, and then ask for permission to draw the mandala. Just like this, here too, you are the authority to subdue the demons, and it is also to subdue the demons for the sake of empowerment, and ask for permission to draw the mandala for the meaning of empowerment. In this way, these also have the meaning of observation, raising, purification, and holding of the common practice of the mandala ritual, the land owner and the earth god are raising the land, digging and purifying is purification, and the three postures of protective wheel peg fixation are the meaning of holding. However, this commentary does not use such words. Before all that, the arising of the vast self-generation is, from the mantra of cutting off the demons with the samadhi of the deity, to the definite understanding of the deity's pride. Like this, generate pride, and then completely hold the land and invite the disciples. It is said that before holding pride, meditate on emptiness, the supreme king of the mandala, the supreme king of activities, the yoga of bindu, and the subtle yogas are all done with mantras. It is said that before the land ritual, one should practice the vast self-generation, rather than sending away the earth gods, etc., and then practicing self-generation on the ground of the mandala, and then raising the mandala, etc., is not mentioned. Therefore, in general, there are three types of empowerment rituals: accomplishment with one's own ritual, accomplishment with other's ritual, and accomplishment in a mixed way. Accomplishment with other's ritual is like combining the mandala that summarizes it with the supreme ritual, just like the summarized action part, and mixed combination is like the Kalachakra mandala ritual of Sadhuputra, the mandala ritual is vast wisdom.

This is a ritual composed by the Kalachakra Tantra itself. Generally, just because some bits and pieces are supplemented from other sources, it does not become a non-self-tradition ritual, but in non-common places, if they are pieced together, strengthening the power of other traditions, changing the order, etc., and making different agreements, it will become a ritual of other traditions, or become a mixed kind. If these are prophesied by the gods, or have the oral instructions of the guru, then there is no contradiction, as symbolized by the three rounds of the rosary. Therefore, like some later self-righteous scholars, even if a slight situation arises that does not conform to their own wishes, they shout loudly, saying that this is not the Dharma at all, we will never do this, we will distinguish what is that ritual and what is not. If it is not done by an accomplished person, and the gods have not allowed it, and there are no oral instructions, but only with the arrogance of a little hearing and thinking, newly compiling rituals of other traditions or mixed rituals, etc., and forcibly using them, then it is useless, it will only make the students waste their efforts. After such a general understanding is formed, and after the important ritual order is determined, now is the second part, the actual ritual. First, observe the land, second, enter into self-yoga, third, the land is more stable, and fourth, the subsequent rituals. The first part is: The sutra says: "The types of land, due to the power of merit, become four types, namely, the commoner caste, the free caste, the king caste, and the Brahmin caste." etc., extensively explaining its meaning. The color of the land is black, which is the commoner caste, used for the three activities of killing, expelling, and separating; yellow is the free caste, used for the three activities of bewilderment, rigidity, and pinning; red is the king caste, used for the activities of subjugation and attraction; white is the Brahmin caste, praising for pacifying and increasing. Green is the lowest caste, used for all activities. Light blue, the bright color is also the same as this, and the dull color is the same as black. Observing the smell of the land, the smell of pus is the commoner caste, the taste of salt is the free caste, the smell of lotus is the king caste, the smell of sandalwood and other excellent smells is the Brahmin caste. You can also observe the taste, sour and salty are the commoner caste, sweet is the free caste, spicy is the king caste, bitter and astringent are the Brahmin caste. If both smell and taste are present, it is the lowest caste, the space element, used for all activities.
