Merely being able to explain the lineage of the drop-irrigation empowerment, or merely being able to serve as the leader of offering rituals, is considered as not being able to avoid being a master of the great mandala, it seems like that's your idea! This will also be laughed at. Also, it is said: In the lower commentary, it says "in order to become the lord," therefore, the doctrine of the lower commentary is not the empowerment of the lord, but the empowerment of another great lord. This is a misunderstanding by cutting off a sentence. This explanatory word is an explanation of the meaning of "great lord," saying that "in order to become the lord" one becomes the master of the great mandala. According to the usual translation, it is to make the lord of many vidyādharas the lord, that is, for this reason, whether it is the generation stage or the completion stage, in their respective samādhis, the wheel of the mandala constantly appears without interruption, such a person is called the master of the great mandala. In order to consolidate or enhance those who have already obtained this position, or to bring those who have not yet obtained it closer to obtaining it, empowerment must be performed at that time. Therefore, the lord and the master of the great mandala are empowerments with the same basis, so it is called the empowerment of the great lord. Another saying is that in order to become the great lord of the mandala, one wants to manifest the position of the master. Just like the changes made by the omniscient great one (Tsongkhapa), the meaning of the great lord can be explained as the great lord of the mandala. Generally speaking, if it is the lord, it cannot pervade the great lord. However, the great lord can pervade the lord, so even if it is not used with words such as the great mandala, merely "for the lord" will not contradict the great lord. Merely saying "lord" will not become a small lord. If, according to your view, you think it will become a small lord, then the vajra master that you yourself approve of becomes the empowerment of the small lord. If the meaning and name of the small lord are established, then there must be another great lord, so the empowerment of the lord and the great lord is necessarily established. If merely saying "lord" will not become a small lord, then wanting to become a great lord, that word...

Introducing harm is because wisdom has not fully arrived. Therefore, at this time and place, regarding the distinction between the two types of empowerment of the Vajra Master, the non-inverted meaning of the tantric essence, only the omniscient great Dolpopa, the Buddha of the three times, has bestowed the unparalleled excellent explanation. Not understanding this, all those who are called omniscient are also seen as biased in the meaning of this tantric commentary. Fourth, regarding the difference of the recipients of empowerment, that is, the disciples: In general, disciples should possess universal qualities. In particular, for the object of the virtuous guru's delight, who wishes to bestow the supreme empowerment in a grand manner, their minds should be extremely pure. Here, in the "Glorious Reality Practice," it says: Just as a virtuous son never begs his father to take a bride, the father himself knows about taking a bride for a son who is virtuous and whose time has come. Similarly, disciples should not insistently beg the guru for the unsurpassed empowerment. Whether I (the guru) am qualified as a disciple, the completely pure nature itself will know. Therefore, the guru should know that the disciple possesses qualities and is suitable to receive higher empowerments, and should not allow disciples who do not have complete qualities to demand them forcibly. If one possesses the qualities to become a higher vessel, it is not a great fault to beg slightly. But in general, if the qualities are not complete, especially relying on a consort, even a trace of jealousy and miserliness towards the guru should not exist. Otherwise, even a momentary thought of jealousy will lead to hell. If such a thought exists, the guru will not give higher empowerments, and the disciple should not request them. The tantra says: Thus it is said, if one hears the actions of the Victor from the King of Tantras, and after receiving empowerment, again becomes jealous, this person will enter the eighth hell until the end of time. There, on land like the tip of a needle, the fruits of non-virtue will drive the beings of hell to wander everywhere. Therefore, empowerment should not be received until jealousy exists in people's minds. As the sutra says, according to the literal meaning, one should not insistently beg, and one must abandon jealousy, which is the case for all higher empowerments.

Mainly, it is the empowerment of the master, which arises from the discussions of the lamas. Although this, in the empowerment of the master and the disciple, does not seem to greatly distinguish the differences between what is to be prohibited and what is needed. But slightly, in order to make the discussion authoritative, on the basis of all these conditions being met, it is suitable for both types of masters, that is, possessing all the conditions mentioned above, is the determination of the object of the master's empowerment. Fifth, explaining the meaning of the actual ritual, that is, explaining the empowerment of the lord and the empowerment of the great lord. First, the order is shown by the meaning of the root text and commentary, eliminating wrong views on the nature of the ritual, and clearly showing the order of actions. The first is, in the one hundred and fourth and one hundred and fifth verses of the Empowerment Chapter: Dragons and four kinds of jewels, golden vases, etc., and the king, the nature of the earth, along with precious things. With vases of victory and supreme victory, filled with medicine and fragrance, bathe in the center of the seat. The nagas bind the glorious diadem, adorn with four lotus petals, and bind with hanging silk ribbons. For the mudra, with the glorious vase, here abandon the lotus and the five lines. First, the waters become lay practitioners, and the vases also become novices. In the secret empowerment, one becomes a bhikshu, and for the actions of the superiors, one is also called a sthavira. Mudras, hanging silk ribbons, diadems, etc., and holding for the sake of vajra offerings, are bestowed by the supreme guru. For the sake of the guru, with the empowerment of one's own victorious lineage, the mudras are completely pure. Thus it is said. The second is, in this great commentary, it is also said at the beginning: Dragons and so on, refer to the empowerments of the vases, etc., which will be explained first, through which one is manifestly empowered. From this, the disciple who knows all the tantras and abides by the vows, for the sake of the vajra master lord, should be empowered by the guru. Thus it is said, and in accordance with other tantras, there are also cases where the name of vase empowerment is established in the water empowerment, merely by way of nomenclature. At the end of the explanation of this treatise, it is said to be the complete establishment of the ritual of the vajra master lord's empowerment. Thus, from beginning to end, it is the lord.
