O Mother! The color of the storied house is either directional color or green. Regarding this, there are five fences at the boundary of the surrounding area, and three fences at the place where the earth and sky appear to meet, and the storied house is said to be two hundred cubits high. These matters related to the external activities such as the mandala's ground ritual are for the purpose of preventing obstacles from entering that area until the ritual is completed. That is why it is said so, but for daily yoga, there is no such fixed measurement. However, it is not contradictory to do so. In some old translations here, there is also the saying that the storied house is two thousand cubits high. There is a slight point to be investigated as to which is correct, two hundred or two thousand. Among them, the place where the earth and sky appear to meet, and the meaning of the boundary from dawn to shadow, many people in Tibet later spoke nonsense, but the core is this: like India, assuming that the land is flat and without mountains, if you look from the center of the plain, not the top of the mountain or the top of the castle, when the sun rises at the end of dawn, you will feel that the sun rises from this plain. Shadow, that is, when the sun sets, you will feel that the sun sets directly on this land. That plain itself appears to be the boundary where the sky and earth meet in the east and west directions, and the north and south directions are similar to it, so it looks round. That is to say, it is said that there is a circular range of twelve yojanas, which was said by a certain pandita Vajra. Regarding the surrounding area, some people say that the surrounding area occupied by themselves and the same group must be taken as the boundary, but in general, this scale is not certain, especially since it is not certain where the practitioner lives, so it is difficult to determine the scale. However, this is certain, it is better to surround it outside by about twice the previous scale. It is said that in good places such as India and China, the land called the kingdom, which has hundreds of thousands of villages, is also that big. If you determine the scale, that is reasonable. Those are to show the scale, not to match the view of your own residence, so it doesn't matter where you meditate. Some people say that the size of the protection range of the surrounding area and the place where the sky and earth appear to meet are not determined by the width of the valley, which is very wrong. If so, people living in deep caves,

The appearance of the sky and earth sticking together is completely absent, and the foot of the mountain appears round. The fifth enclosure, the third enclosure, is said to be in that gap. Those two enclosures are indefinite in and out, and it would become a fault of being crossed, etc. Therefore, on the vast plain, the land appears round, and in a good place, a hundred thousand scattered villages that are not cities can be built. The meaning is to contemplate the extent of this area. Therefore, the so-called shadow refers to the place where the sun sets. If it is determined by where the shadow of the house reaches, it is very contradictory to the round appearance. Therefore, regarding the land, the three-tiered enclosures, and these dimensions at this time, various different conceptualizations have arisen in later generations in this part of Tibet, but in reality, none of them are in accordance with the actual situation, and debate is also of little significance, so there is no need to repeat existing views. The mantra for setting up the enclosure is oṃ(藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), āḥ(藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), hūṃ(藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), raḥ(藏文:རཿ,梵文天城体:रः,梵文罗马拟音:raḥ,汉语字面意思:raḥ), which are the seeds of the four vajras and the four of sun, moon, sound, and time. It is also fine to bless both iron fences as the nature of the four vajras. Alternatively, there is no contradiction in using the three syllables as the inner enclosure and the syllable raḥ as the seed of the wisdom vajra outer enclosure. The so-called two hundred cubit high building, if calculated in detail, some say it is eight cubits less. However, here, the two hundred cubits clearly show the width rather than the height. This is because it can be compared to the determination of the dimensions of the mandala of body, speech, and mind, etc. The height of one floor should be half of its width, and all three floors should be the same. If the eaves of each floor and the harmi etc. are placed on the top floor, the height will be doubled. If the ten-spoke wheel, the dwelling place of the ten wrathful deities, is not made, then the seat of the main deity should be placed in the center of the middle floor. At that time, the seat of Vajra Power is an eight-spoke wheel, and eight lotus petals can be chosen. The eight wrathful deities are placed in the eight directions inside the wall, slightly not touching, and the top of the main deity's head is not directly above, but the seat of the crown of the wrathful deity is placed in the upper room that protrudes slightly to the east, like that.
