Alas, sorrow and compassion pervade the sky, not artificial, and the never-forgotten devotion to the Lama. These three are indispensable components. The preliminaries are refuge, bodhicitta, and the four immeasurables. The main practice is the view and the practice of generation and completion stages. The subsequent points are rejoicing, dedication, and vows. These are the essence of all sutras and tantras. The moving is that the later thought is not born, and the former thought has ceased. In between those two, do not think of anything, but maintain that clear awareness without cessation. There is no grasping onto it whatsoever. Like and dislike, pleasure and pain, attachment and aversion, and words that arise in the heart and disappear in the heart, hearing, etc., whatever movement arises in the mind, look at your own face, do not modify it, and leave it as it is. Not knowing your own face, the mind is like a rope. If you examine it that way, it is like Walpo, without a trace. Self-awareness is the only one without a target. Do not abandon conceptual thoughts, saying they are pure in their own nature. Whatever conceptual thoughts arise, such as desire, hatred, etc., if afflictions arise, recognize whatever appears, do not let the three doors be controlled by them, and do not regard them as faults, but leave them directly as they are. Initially, even if afflictions only appear clearly, it is only awareness, inexpressible, naked and clearly appearing. Then, that appearance of mere afflictions, returning in its own nature, is great wisdom. After that, it is very important to be seized by compassion. Similarly, apply it to virtuous conceptual thoughts, etc. Whether the mind-essence abides or moves, it will not go beyond the realm of the nature of non-elaboration. This is the fourth talk based on the view and practice of whatever arises, self-liberated. In noisy places, it is difficult to generate virtue. It is best to rely on a secluded place that suits you. Before gaining stability, if you travel to all countries again and again, you will lose opportunities and virtue will decline. If you do not stand firm on the mountain, you will often descend to the valley. Because you need to pretend to be good, you often go to the mountain. There are too many thoughts, and the essence of Dharma is carried away by the wind. Do not do that, cherish unwavering determination. Except for those with the power of good aspirations, relying on patrons is a great demon for practitioners. In particular, hermits should abandon worldly affairs, and going to palaces is contradictory. If you pursue pure appearances too much, you will become frivolous. Do not judge, slander, or have wrong views, abandon pride in yourself and contempt for others. Do not seek verbal promises and false recognition. Protect crops from hail and death.

And subduing demons, Do not deceive others with false clairvoyance, astrology, mantras, medicine, ransom offerings, and torma. These are obstacles for great meditators. If there is too much meaningless dissection, people will hate it. If there is too much backbiting, one will go to the ranks of the wicked. If there is too much slander, it will disturb the minds of others. Therefore, it is better to abandon speech. To lead people's minds, lies are the cause of hell. Speaking the truth agitates people's hearts. Idle talk is a demon that destroys virtue. Speaking of attachment and hatred becomes a sin of speech. Although one must strive day and night only for virtue, In gatherings of many people, loud prayers, In front of people, the way one looks, sits, etc., One must not make secret proclamations under the power of the eight worldly concerns. One must have little manifestation but great determination. For the men and women of the black village, In order to generate faith, pretending to be liberated, Pretending to give up actions, pretending to be very compassionate, Pretending to have experienced realization, speaking Dharma words, Showing off channels and winds is not right. Deceiving people causes one to fall out of the group of practitioners. Secret proclamations cause root downfalls, thus vows are broken. We should not act one way in public and another in private, Can one go to hell to fill one's belly? Abandoning hypocrisy and deceit is extremely important. However, saying that there is no difference between public and private, And doing whatever comes to mind with harsh words like "Phat" and "Ral," Is a great disgrace to the teachings, and one will also fall. One should only do pure actions with the three doors. If stained by evil, one should immediately offer confession. Abandon all possessions and stand like a tree on the mountain, Without the name of being a hermit or renunciate. Even when benefiting those who harm you, I do not boast that my thoughts and actions are good. There is no need to do things that are not Dharma. If one does not think highly of oneself as a good practitioner, Then one has reached the standard of a good meditator. If one has great attachment to one's homeland and friends and boasts of one's qualities, Even if one has all other qualities, one's heart is rotten. All actions should be done only with the intention to benefit others. Sleep, food, conduct, torma, etc., Each of the yogas should be without laziness, And cherish constant mindfulness, devotion to the guru, And renunciation and faith, without separation. View, meditation, conduct, clothing, etc., Avoid being too different from others. Even if one is in harmony with everyone, one should maintain one's own style.
