Even if there is no constant and intense longing, if devotion without attachment does not arise naturally and dissolve naturally, it is just an ordinary good thought. Therefore, devotion and prayer free from hope and doubt are necessary. Praying to one virtuous lama will bring the blessings of all. It is also permissible to follow the practice of focusing on merging all into one, or not doing so. Because the essence of all lamas is the same taste in the clear emptiness, like the sky, without any grasping. Its radiance shining as compassion is also the same taste. The enlightened activities arising from its power to benefit sentient beings are also the same taste. From one's own perspective, from the first teacher who taught you to read, all lamas encourage virtue, which is also the same taste. Although there are various different methods, and different ways of teaching and guiding, they are only to adapt to different times and circumstances. The essence is to make you utilize the two obscurations, perfect the two accumulations, and ultimately guide you to Buddhahood, which is also the same taste. Now is the time to pray and cultivate devotion, and those lamas who constantly arise are manifestations of one's own mind, so in the nature of mind, they are also the same taste. Knowing this, pray like this: Om (藏文：ཨོཾ，梵文天城体：ओ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡), the indivisible body vajra of appearance and emptiness, pervades all appearances of samsara and nirvana. Ah (藏文：ཨཱཿ，梵文天城体：आ，梵文罗马拟音：āḥ，汉语字面意思：阿), the indivisible speech vajra of sound and emptiness, although free from speech and effort, appears in all names and words. Hum (藏文：ཧཱུཾ，梵文天城体：हु，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽), the indivisible mind vajra of bliss and emptiness, although without effort, knows all knowable things. Hoh (藏文：ཧོཿ，梵文天城体：हो，梵文罗马拟音：hoḥ，汉语字面意思：霍), the wisdom vajra possessing all qualities, although unchanging, appears everywhere in samsara and nirvana. The four vajras, the masters of all Buddhas, I take refuge in you, the all-encompassing lama. I pray to you, the all-encompassing Dharma. Please bless me, the all-encompassing Sangha. I prostrate to you, the all-encompassing Yidam. Please protect me, the all-encompassing Dharma protector. May I never be separated from you, Protector, and may I accomplish the deeds that please you. And also countless emanations, Buddhas filling the sky, Heroes and dakinis densely packed like clouds, Light and rays of light intermingling like rainbows, Possessing the splendor of a million suns, The sound of Dharma resounding like thunder, The experience of great bliss buzzing, Now, please bless me, Please bless me in this very place. Having realized the inseparability of mind and heart, May I become one with you, O venerable one. Having become as vast as the sky, May I accomplish the activities of the body. May speech also pervade all that is knowable, May I accomplish all your words without exception. With the minds of all beings as one taste, May all the activities of your heart be accomplished. At all times and in all circumstances, May I rely on your lotus feet, And hold your words as they are. Until I realize the true nature, And until I gain stability, May I respectfully accomplish whatever you say, And may I have unwavering devotion, Whatever beating, scolding, or rebuking you may do, May I not give rise to discouragement or wrong views, May my devotion greatly increase.
