May these three words of advice resonate in the hearts of students! Having obtained this human body once, do you have the leisure to live leisurely? Instead of wasting your life in distraction, strive to tame your own mind. If you do not鞭策yourself with the whip of diligence, then cut off the thought of expecting others to urge you! Look at the villagers, enemies, and relatives, do not seek others to urge you to do good deeds. When you encounter profound Dharma teachings, strive to gain the benefit of practice. Just like exchanging goods with each other to obtain profit, draw the essence of great practitioners from the depths of your heart. If you cannot sever the attachment to desirable objects, you will give up a hundred and attract a thousand. If you spend your life in false delusions, it is shameful to wear the false name of a hermit. Life is impermanent, and it is uncertain when you will die, do not make a false show of force in practice. Chasing after fame and praise, there is a danger of being blown away by the winds of the eight worldly concerns. The virtuous deeds that benefit your own mind, even if others do not understand, you must persevere. Do not covet a large retinue and face, subtle experiences are also easy to disappear. Even if the sun of realization rises, if people near and far do not understand, the heart will feel empty. If practice does not hit the point, no matter how much kindness you bestow on enemies and relatives, unless the heart is filled with compassion, do not flaunt your face even for a moment, so that the seeds of Bodhi are difficult to sow. In general, all obstacles arise from the clinging to appearances, and secret conduct is very important. Even if you benefit the people of the whole country, if you are swallowed by jealousy, it is not true altruism. You may spend your life in practice, but if you are controlled by arrogance, you will fall off a cliff. When experiences and merits appear, if you show off to others, they will immediately diminish. When benefiting beings and fame arise, demons are likely to take advantage of the opportunity to enter. The demon is not somewhere else, negligence in Dharma practice is the demon itself. No matter how important companions and friends are, they only know worldly affairs. Since you have decided to give up this life, do not seek worldly connections and plans. Enjoyment and retinue are the root of distraction, then there is no need to attract downfall. Seemingly free objects are the basis of bondage, do not hold on tightly to stinginess until death. Fleeting and perishable enjoyment

Idle talk is the enemy of virtuous deeds. To be silent and restrain speech is of utmost importance. Wandering around like a lost yak is the cause of straying. To dwell in empty places is to be brave. Now, the essence of practice is one: cultivate unwavering devotion. The aspects of practice are three: contemplate impermanence, suffering, and the law of karma. The roots of practice are two: unfeigned sincerity and great compassion. Urge yourself on with the impermanence of death. If you contemplate suffering, abandon attachment. If you contemplate the law of karma, purify your actions. Compassion and freedom from elaboration are the core of meditation. The root of all of these is devotion. Anger and competitiveness should dissolve into the expanse. If there is no longer the entanglement of deluded thoughts, then virtuous deeds will become essential. In short, if you are going to do Dharma, do it according to the Dharma. This practice of liberating oneself from life, whether it is listening, thinking, or meditating, should not be more than deceiving others. Merely knowing some Dharma is not beneficial, because your own mind remains in the state of an ordinary person. Those who do not possess the key points of practice, even if they only meditate foolishly, will lose the essential meaning. If the renunciation of samsara does not arise from the depths of your heart, then the so-called meditator is only accumulating fertilizer on the mountain. For those who do not value the law of karma and are reckless, hoping to attain accomplishment will only be the cause of falling into hell. Those who do not have love, compassion, and the mind of enlightenment, their empty words are like a kite with a broken string. If the inner winds and mind do not dissolve into wisdom, then practicing the channels and winds becomes the Dharma of the heretics. Exposing the vows of secret mantra in the marketplace, turning the yogi who has renounced everything into an outcast. Furthermore, those who hold good views and conduct, there is a danger of accumulating the sin of slandering others. If you strive in practice day and night, you should also deeply understand these pitfalls. Devote yourself wholeheartedly to the Dharma, strive to make your mind-stream gentle, maintain good behavior, and always be mindful. Then, the results you desire will manifest. This is the teaching of Tāranātha to the hermit Kunga Palden. Auspiciousness! Advice to Minister Lodrö Namkha: Oṃ Svāsti (藏文:ཨོཾ་སྭཱ་སྟི།,梵文天城体:ओṃ स्वस्ति,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ svasti,汉语字面意思:嗡,吉祥!), Namo Guru (藏文:ན་མོ་གུ་རུ།,梵文天城体:नमो गुरु,梵文罗马拟音:namo guru,汉语字面意思:顶礼 गुरु 上师!). To the Lama who is the embodiment of the Three Jewels, I offer the offerings of inseparable mind and wisdom. I pray in the state of equality, bless the faithful disciple. Here are some verses that arose from my own mind, without order or ornate language.
