However many waves arise and stir, The great waves arise from the ocean itself, The water of the ocean dissolves back into the ocean. The nature of waves and ocean is not different. The nature of this mind is also like the ocean. However many thoughts arise and stir, Thoughts are the magic of the mind, dissolving into the mind. Do not view mind and thoughts as separate entities. Since mind is clear and empty, without birth, The moving thoughts are also clear and empty, without birth. Liberation is attained by merely recognizing the nature of mind, This thought is also liberated by merely recognizing it. If you do not recognize, both are delusion. Do not seek to accept or reject in dwelling and change. In the mandala of a perfectly clear mirror, A boy who has cast a pra mantra sees the image of the pra. Although it is not there, the image appears merely due to causes and conditions, Although the image arises, the mirror is not damaged. Since beginningless time, due to not recognizing one's own face, However many deluded appearances have arisen, The nature of mind, the Dharmakaya, is not damaged. However, without recognition, there is no benefit. If you recognize your own face, afflictions are wisdom. If you do not recognize, the path is also the cause of samsara. Practice meditation without acceptance or rejection, abandonment or adoption. Just as from the base of a towering rocky mountain, A clear and pleasant echo arises, That sound is empty from the very moment it is heard. A thought is unborn from the very moment it arises. Recognize that the Dharmakaya is inherently present. Whatever strong currents of water stir, If they fall into a clear lake, they become still. Whether the river flows swiftly or swirls, There is no difference in the essence of coolness and moisture. The stirring of desire, agitated like water, If you recognize your own face, it is still like a lake. Desire is self-liberated from the very moment it arises, This is called the wisdom of individual self-awareness. Do not seek the Protector Amitabha elsewhere. Just as when a fire blazes in a forest, The flames arise from space and dissolve into space, Even the intense anger that burns like fire, Does not exist even slightly separate from the mind. Rest the nature of anger in clarity and emptiness, Is that not called mirror-like wisdom? Do not seek the Immovable King elsewhere. Just as when a knot is tied in a snake, Although it appears as a knot, it is actually self-liberated. However thick and high the rain clouds may be, They do not exist even slightly separate from the sky.

There is not. When just recognizing, pride and stinginess, are seen as inseparable from the self-liberated space. Pride and stinginess are equality wisdom. Do not seek the Victorious One, Ratnasambhava, from elsewhere. However fiercely a red wind may rage in the sky, there is no change in the sky directly above the storm. Though the red wind of jealousy rages, in the nature of mind, this self-liberation is accomplishment wisdom. Do not seek meaningful accomplishment from elsewhere. When the night sky is covered by darkness, when dawn breaks, it is seen to clear and become bright. Darkness did not come from elsewhere, nor did it go elsewhere. When the nature of the sky is covered by darkness, it did not go elsewhere, and when the darkness clears, the nature did not change and become better. The self-nature of mind, with and without obscurations, the nature of self has no change of good or bad. When ignorance is not known, and one knows one's own face, do not fabricate, leave it like butter, that is wisdom. Do not fabricate that Dharmadhatu wisdom. Do not seek Vairochana from elsewhere. Other than samsara, there is no nirvana. Other than afflictions, there is no wisdom. Other than one's own mind, there is no Buddha. Other than conceptual thought, there is no emptiness. Not knowing one's own face is the cause of binding all. Knowing one's own face, all is self-liberated. Clinging and grasping, all is astray. Without clinging and relaxing, all is beneficial. If fabricated, all is inverted. If left unfabricated, all is natural. Practice the practice without affirmation, negation, rejection, or acceptance. Ema, if you understand such a practice, now it is okay to stay, stand, or go. Whatever actions you do, such as eating, walking, sleeping, etc., all are the state of the king of virtue. The virtue of just the view of objectification, because the root of mind is not cut, If you meditate on love, you will fall into desire and craving. If you meditate without attachment, you will generate self-interest. If you meditate on impermanence and suffering, you will generate discouragement. Even if you examine and decide with intelligence, it is still conceptual thought. Just thinking about it, there is a danger of dizziness. Even if you generate the desire to attain enlightenment, it is still hope. Even if you generate the desire to be free from suffering, it will become doubt. Meditating on the unattractive samadhi, anger will arise. Thinking about the way things dependently arise, conceptual thoughts will be confused. If you focus on one point, ignorance will arise. If you think about the qualities of the path, pride will arise.
