Due to the auspicious connection of the rosary, all the burdens did not go towards the direction of Ngamring, but repeatedly returned towards the direction of Zangden. In Ngamring, at this time, according to the instructions to Jetsunma Ngawang Drung, instructions on Hevajra Father Tantra, Mother Tantra, and the Root Madhyamaka were given. For the practitioners of Shikhor, empowerments of Hevajra and Kalachakra were given. Furthermore, there were about two empowerments of the Black Heruka of Hevajra, and the empowerment of the Eight Rotations of the Corpse of the Ra Lotsawa of Bhairava. Instructions, transmissions, അനുജ്ഞാs, etc., were given, and there was almost no Dharma that did not increase. From Mön Dro onwards, it was only reported that we had no rights in the direction of Chö Lung, and that all the customs of Chö Lung belonged to the people of Mön Dro themselves. Furthermore, various thoughts that had gathered earlier and later manifested at this time. After that, even if the thought of entrusting those to them arose in my mind now, the companions did not agree at all. Because it seemed difficult to maintain for a year or two from then on, I requested the Depa himself to entrust the monastery. At the summer viewing site, Yolthang Rabne, there was no celebration at all, and it was done very simply. Previously, on the throne of Jonang, it was Jetrung Gongma himself who appointed and gave it from his hand, but I did not have a real need for it. Therefore, at this time, the idea of having to go to the Jonang monastery arose. In general, I have no desire for monasteries, etc., and I only wish to increase virtue as much as possible without a fixed abode, and especially I have no desire for narrow-minded things. However, the venerable Lama Jamyang Kunga also gave many orders. Moreover, at that time, immediately according to the words of Guru Rinpoche, in order to make a connection of offering in this upper region, it is appropriate to hold Jonang in any case. Even if one does not look at such worldly dharmas, in this region, it is only a matter of guiding the philosophical view to one's own mind, let alone acting according to the tenets of the Jonangpa fathers and sons. Because there is not even a slight inclination towards the philosophical view, one must consider the teachings of the Dharma, he said earnestly, so I kept these in mind and also promised the Depa the throne of Jonang. Apart from that, I also built a hermitage. There, I devoted myself to practice.

Just by relying on the suffering of illness, I thought that attaining Buddhahood in one lifetime was not difficult, and that there was a way to ultimately benefit oneself and others. However, in terms of benefiting sentient beings, it was difficult to get rid of the interference of demons. Other great lamas didn't seem to consider this at all. When I returned from Ngamring, Chosje Drakpa was slightly unwell and had been for a few days, so I went to visit him in his room. That night, he passed away with strange omens. After that, on the fifth day of the eighth month, I arrived at the great retreat of Jomo Nang. On the eighth day, under auspicious stars, I ascended the throne, and Grolung Nangso was appointed as the head of the transfer of accounts for the monastery, both past and present. At that time, from the old monastery, there was only a small amount of what was called the "essence of transfer," but in reality, nothing was transferred. After completing the transfer, I myself did a strict retreat at Kyipu for more than a month. I practiced a form of the sow deity. At the end of the ninth month, many new flowers bloomed on the apple trees of Kyipu, their petals a shimmering gray-white. It is said that flowers blooming out of season is an auspicious sign, and I hoped that it was just an auspicious sign and not a larger omen. At this time, I dreamed that I was climbing a great mountain and arrived at a pleasant meadow. There, there was a yogi with a shaved head, very strange and majestic, said to be Guru Padmasambhava. Next to him stood a very old Tibetan spiritual friend, very majestic, said to be Dakpo Nyiwa Rinpoche. The yogi said, "I and Dolpopa are of the same essence." The other one said, "I and you are also the same." After that, in a temple, there was a huge statue of Hayagriva, whose craftsmanship was beyond imagination. In the area of the heart, there was a spot the size of a palm, warm and hot, shining red like fire. This Hayagriva seemed to represent the all-knowing one. The yogi said, "This is the main object of veneration in this place, and I consecrated it. Originally, all the statues had something like this in the area of the heart, but later, due to some philosophical flaws, it became like this."
