Herein lies the autobiography of Jya Khampa Taranatha, entitled "A Very Detailed, Unadorned, and Free-flowing Autobiography of True Accounts." Namo Guru Buddha Bodhisattvebhyaḥ Om Svasti Sarva Prajābhyaḥ. The autobiography of Jya Khampa Taranatha, entitled "A Very Detailed, Unadorned, and Free-flowing Autobiography of True Accounts." I prostrate to the Lamas! May the ever-stable, Yungdrung radiant Vajra Mind, primordially pure like the sky, free from increase and decrease, the source of all Dharmas, the seed of Buddhahood, may the primordial protector of my own mind be victorious! I pray to the assembly of root and lineage Lamas, who are the precious treasure of the two siddhis, whose blessings ripple like waves, and who are the water reservoir of instructions. I pray to the perfect Buddhas who turn the wheel of Brahma in accordance with the thoughts of each sentient being, and who are the complete fulfillment of the two benefits. I pray to the sacred Dharma, which is profound, peaceful, free from elaboration, whose nature is primordially pure, free from defilements, and which is the truth of cessation, complete with scripture and realization. I pray to the Sangha of the three vehicles, who dispel the darkness of negativity in this world, and who are perfectly complete with all qualities. With reverence, I prostrate with all things. From the inexpressible nature of mind, which has no beginning or end, in the innate state that arises in all of samsara and nirvana, this is why it shows infinite miracles. Who can describe all of that? Even if a fool tries to describe it, since it is not seen to turn into benefit for others, it is best to temporarily hold the ascetic practice of silence. If I speak, I wish to speak of the biographies of the noble ones. To speak of one's own qualities is a lowly custom. If I lie, the noble ones will be ashamed. I have no extraordinary qualities to speak of. It is enough to speak of the situation without exaggeration. Because of the earnest urging of others, I will briefly describe my own biography. Even though the times may become warmer, may all the wise ones be tolerant. That is, the primordial protector, and suchness, and the uncontaminated realm, and the all-pervading Dharmata, and the Tathagatagarbha, and the self-luminous nature.

Clarity, as well as the primordial Buddha, and the root Vajradhara, etc., the categories of names are inexhaustible, so they should be proclaimed. The great being of mind-nature awareness, his deeds are extremely rare, is to fully propagate all pure dharmas, the body of all Tathagatas of the ten directions and three times, as well as wisdom, qualities and deeds, activities, all gathered in the center of conditioned phenomena, is an unchanging great treasure. Not decaying and protecting, from when the lineage is fully awakened, gradually extracting the excellent vase of treasure, effortlessly bestowing the desires of self-nature, is the protector of all samsara and nirvana, the excellent biography of the glorious fully accomplished great achiever, without increase or decrease. As it is said: Suchness is in all, although there is no difference, it is pure, the Tathagata is for this reason, all beings have the essence of the Tathagata. Like this, it is not alone, but pervades the sky, possessing the vajra of space, indivisible, and all-pervading, and all-lord, and vast, and extensive. Such primordial wisdom and co-emergent with it, the essence and itself are indistinguishable, called the Alaya consciousness. There is an autonomous one of existence, as it is said: Thus the stream of Alaya, also arises from the conditions of external objects, by the various waves of consciousness, extremely agitated and dancing. As it is said, the rivers of karma and afflictions, flowing with hundreds of millions, and relying on the great ocean, from beginningless time, until the true limit has not been manifested, constantly flowing the seven consciousness aggregates, as well as various feelings, and different concepts, and immeasurable volitional formations and other collections of waves shaking. The world of location, and the five objects such as things and colors, and the images of consciousness appearing as the five physical senses, the great water store of Alaya consciousness that vividly arises and disappears constantly, in the six realms from generation to generation, the signs of liberation that are beyond description, although there are inconceivable realms, but wandering in samsara from beginningless time.
