Drawn by the earth, what's so marvelous about a new moon appearing? What's marvelous is the moon that constantly appears in the minds of all beings. After that, I again requested some Dharma teachings of Riwo Chewa at Namgyal Rabten, as well as some other Dharma titles. At this time, it was also just after Rinpoche Ka Zhi Pa had completed his three-year retreat in Drak. In Taklung, I met with Je Khubon, and they also earnestly invited me to come to Lhokha in Utsang. The next day, I set out from Taklung Tang and went to Yarzang, where, at their request, I gave a long-life empowerment and a Mahakala following blessing. I stayed in Langtang for about three days, continuously giving Mani recitations and other Dharma teachings to everyone, including the people, and explaining the corresponding Dharma according to their individual wishes. At this time, I was also able to voluntarily offer gold plating to all the sacred images in Lhasa. At the earnest invitation of Yerba, I went to Yerba. After staying for a few days, I gave the empowerment of the Black One of Chakrasamvara to Depa Yulgyal's steward and a few others, the doctor Geshe Na'owa, and Mentang Lobsangpa, and according to their individual wishes, I gave the blessings of the Red and White Dakinis, the following blessing of Vaishravana with the Red Lance, and the transmission of the Yogini Samucchaya. In front of the Mother Buddha statue, I gave a concise instruction on Niguma's practice, and at the request of Depa's steward, who wished to practice meditation on the White Dakini, I composed new realization texts for each of them and offered them. Afterwards, I stayed in Lhasa's Chokhor for three days. Leaving Lhasa early in the morning, I arrived at Tsawa in Drepung Monastery. At this time, it was during the Great College's debate assembly, so there were very many monks. I enjoyed a fine large bowl of tea from Mangar Hungdum Nga. I offered khatas and appropriate offerings to the silver stupa of Jamyang Choje Tashi Palden and other sacred objects. In particular, in the heart of the great Vajrabhairava statue in the Tantric College, where it is said that the relics of Ra Lotsawa are enshrined, I offered a black silk khata and composed a praise that conformed to both the generation and completion stages. After praying for a long time, some signs of blessing appeared. I also offered fine incense to the writing model of Thonmi Sambhota and the throne of Je Tsongkhapa.

About ten khatas were offered to the mound where the relics of three million paṇḍitas were enshrined, and fervent prayers were made. From the center of the stupa, a clear sound like "Tadyathā, Oṃ Gate Gate," etc., arose. That night, lodging was arranged at the residence of the steward official at Norbu Gepel. The next day, they set out by boat and offered a torma to Gonpo of Ong Gonpo Dong. That night, they arrived in Lumbini. After staying for five or six days, they performed some propitiatory rituals to avert obstacles. They went to visit the mountain of the righteous rākṣasa, where there was an image of Cakrasaṃvara, a portrait of Mahābodhi, Cakrasaṃvara Lūhipa, and the maṇḍala of Kālacakra, as well as the samaya object of Vibhuticandra, which was definitely not of Indian style, with an exceptionally outstanding painting style. There was also a clay image of Vajrayoginī, an image of Mahākaruṇika Ngalongma, and a thangka depicting the arrangement of Vajrāsana. These three paintings seemed to be substitutes for the original ones, but in any case, they were all visited, and offerings were made as much as possible. From the official of the four-pillar department, they requested the initiation of Cakrasaṃvara Ghantapāda, which was performed that night. They also slept there that night in a clean place. In a dream, they went to a very large temple of Cakrasaṃvara, where an old woman handed them a huge golden book. Upon opening it, it turned out to be the root tantra of Cakrasaṃvara, with many commentaries, written in various colors such as gold, silver, grass green, indigo, and vermilion, which were very dazzling. Within it, after "There is no difference between that and this," there was this verse: "Desire is the leaf of poison, the practitioner acts without fear, appearing from the five lineages, examining the one lineage of the king of medicine, suppressing gods and asuras, the messengers rejoice greatly, possessing the nature of blissful union, offering to the wise yoginī." The ending was: "It is extremely difficult to obtain, not understood by others, it is shown to you who are wise, yet obscured by other conditions." In the dream, it was understood that the appearance of this old woman seemed to be a sign of some violation of vows, so they were constantly making many confessions and restraints.
