Although he has no discriminating thoughts, he also shows a displeased appearance in order to purify the obscurations of the practitioner's deeds, and takes with compassion those who are removed from the place of faulty teachings. Similarly, when I first stayed in Samding, when I was discussing with the teacher Pūrṇavajra, a remnant of the confession of Ākāśagarbha arose. At that time, someone said that nowadays one should practice Ākāśagarbha. After that, I also practiced according to the ritual of the hundred names of the Blessed Noble Ākāśagarbha. As it is said in the sutra, at dawn, praying to the dawn, after doing so for seven consecutive nights, while sleeping, in a dream, there was a Tibetan monk, with white skin, wearing a worn-out Dharma robe, wearing a blue silk Dharma robe, who said: You should confess now. Because I am doing a common confession of the Vajradhara Guru, it is not enough, you should confess. In our minds, there seem to be some root downfalls that contradict the vows of individual liberation, so I confessed by saying each of their names. After that, he smiled and said: Now it is pure, you have obtained a thousand tsatsas. He went up from a place of the door. After that, there was a giant-like figure drawn in a Chinese painting, holding a black buffalo horn staff, with a fierce face. He said: This is about to be exhausted, you still need to be careful. If you believe in the words of the Dharma and put them into practice, it will be like that. If it doesn't happen at all now, then confess in a dream in front of the Noble Ākāśagarbha. The need for what was said has been destroyed. We ordinary beings are all of the nature of afflictions, so downfalls fall like rain. But we have deep faith that the Blessed One Ākāśagarbha will purify all downfalls starting from the crown of my head. Once upon a time, when I was in Kyi-phug, there was also a deity that I regarded as my yidam, who said from the sky: You have not yet obtained forgiveness, do not be arrogant, subdue your mind. Do not scatter outwards, in meditation, meditate on the innate awareness. So he said. The yidam with

Draining from the abscess of a practitioner is a sign of acceptance. These are just digressions. At this time, a doctor named Namkha Drakpa arrived. He was of great help. On the thirteenth day of November, a doctor bhikkhu performed fire needle therapy. He was a doctor himself, and his discipline was pure, so faith arose in him. A lot of abscesses appeared at once, and a lot of serous fluid also flowed out afterwards. In total, about two copper bowls flowed out before and after. After that, some of our students also said that it would be better to stay without recovering for a while. Others, internal, external, and intermediate, also agreed with this, and some even said "dang nge ding nge," but I didn't pay attention to them. Even when doing things like cutting, those who live with us know the situation, so they don't pay much attention. Some of them look scary, like threatening mountains, and are restless because they feel that cutting is unbearable. In general, from the time I was little, I had a reputation for being the reincarnation of the previous lama. Others thought that reincarnations like me, who come from great lama families, mainly engage in pleasure. Some people think that I am like a lazy person who eats and sleeps, and feel that I cannot endure suffering. I have not lived a comfortable life since I was young, but have taken on a great burden. Apart from the reputation of the previous lama, I have no status. There is not even one diligent servant, nor are there many servants. The monastic patrons also did not provide for me very generously. After that, although I slightly craved monastic life, until I was twenty-three years old, except for when I went to travel to the patrons' places, I always stayed in my own monastery, practicing and studying. Each time, I would brew two or three pots of tea to enjoy. Other than that, I didn't do any hard labor like carrying mountains. Not to mention expecting food and drink. When practicing, except for a slight rest at midnight, in order to prevent falling asleep at night, I would go out to the roof or outside to do virtuous deeds. When studying, I would also read books all night long.
