Although there were various discussions, it seems that the focus of the meeting was on the trivial matters of the Dragon and Snake years. After that, we repaired the road and arrived at Takten Monastery (རྟག་བརྟན།). After staying for a few days, the Great Winter Dharma Assembly was held in Jonang (ཇོ་ནང་). The rituals were completed as usual. A detailed explanation of the practice methods of the glorious Kalachakra was given to Jamyang Yeshe Gyatso (ཡེ་ཤེས་རྒྱ་མཚོ།) and the two incarnations of Ka Zhi (ཀ་བཞི་). This transmission was also successful. From private individuals in U-Tsang (དབུས), offerings were received for the passing away of the Iron Chain Bridge Dharma Lord (ལྕགས་ཟམ་ཆོས་རྗེ།) and Jetrung Eber (རྗེ་དྲུང་འབེར་བག). In the Dampo Gang (དམ་པོའི་སྒང) area, Khenchen Lodro Gyaltsenpa (བློ་གྲོས་རྒྱལ་མཚན།) and his disciples from U-Tsang, as well as the Monthang Khenchen Chöje (སྨོན་ཐང་མཁན་ཆེན་ཆོས་རྗེ།) and his disciples from Ngari Gungtang (མངའ་རིས་གློ་བོ) also came for the Dharma transmission and offering of torma. The Khenchen of Drakmar Monastery (བྲག་དམར་ཆོས་སྡེ) also came. The tea offerings and hospitality, etc., in both the upper and lower areas were very good, especially the tea offerings from Ngari were very plentiful. The lord incarnation from Panam Kyipu (པ་སྣམ་སྐྱིད་ཕུག) also arrived during this period. In December, after completing the Six Yogas, on the second day of the first month of the Rabbit year, we moved to Takten Monastery (རྟག་བརྟན།). After the Monlam prayer festival, some Dharma assemblies were also held. In particular, the complete Shangpa Kagyu Dharma (ཤངས་ཆོས) was transmitted to Tsongchen (ཚོང་ཆེན), as well as most of the last five chapters of the Essence Sutra and the ten chapters of the Definitive Meaning Sutra. Dharma Lord Labrang Agapa Jampa Kunga (ཆོས་རྗེ་བླ་བྲང་འགག་པ་བྱམས་པ་ཀུན་དགའ།) and his disciples came here first as a way to apply to the Desi (སྡེ་སྲིད) for monastic estates. The conclusion of the Dharma assembly was almost completed. A complete explanation of the mandala ritual of the glorious Kalachakra was given to about twenty lamas, khenpos, and geshes. After that, a detailed explanation of the immortal body practices known as "Immortal Attainment" was given to Dharma Lord Agapa (འགག་པ་). I made great efforts to do it in my own way. How about ourselves? His uncle Gedun Pelzang (དགེ་འདུན་དཔལ་བཟང་།), who was very famous in Dingpo (དིང་པོ), was offered to the Depa (སྡེ་པ), so land was also obtained. From the spring of the Tiger year, a gold statue of the four-armed Prajnaparamita (ཡུམ་ཆེན་མོ་ཤེས་རབ་ཀྱི་ཕ་རོལ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་པ་ཕྱག་བཞི་མ།), which was determined to be taller than a person, was commissioned. Originally, it was planned to be completed that year, but the craftsmen had to go to Darding (དར་སྡིང), so it was delayed. At this time, it was completed and consecrated.

All offerings and so on were made similar to the previous ones. Je Yeshe Gyatso's Great Commentary, the Lamp of Clarity, was also completed. At the great gathering of lamas from all directions, a celebration was held in which all the profound images that were always there were distributed, except for the Protector Brother and Sister. At this time, some of the statues of deities had silk patterns on their bodies. Therefore, some people, with a critical eye, said: 'The body of the statue has a silk cushion, and it seems to be happy.' Some said that there were cushions here and there. To this I said, 'We don't know that the body of the statue would be happy with a cushion.' In fact, although we are not scholars, we still have that much appreciation. We ourselves do not build with whatever we have on hand. How can we poor people do what rich people do? The upper, higher places are made of coarse cloth and inferior materials, while the lower places that people touch are made of better materials. We have never built anything like that with cracks in the cheeks and neck. Later, there were few monastic leaders who built such statues. There may be some, but worldly people think that they are not religious people, but worldly people, so they do that. Some lamas with great reputations are really amazing. I don't know if there are many people who build such statues. Even if there are, they will be like this. Distributing all the most famous possessions, thinking, 'I want this too, I want that too,' and then building seven-story buildings to store them. They don't distinguish whether the possessions are useful to monks or not, or whether they can be held or not. If there is, they want everything. Some lamas say that this is the wealth of the next life, and then offer it to ghosts and spirits. Some benefactors collect these possessions after the lamas die. Some relatives take these possessions after they die. Some attendants enjoy these possessions after they die. In any case, the remaining possessions, medium and below, that are hidden without being willing to give to others, are mostly given to people with faces when they are alive. Some are given as rewards for killing people, some are given as rewards for robbing possessions, some are given as rewards for seizing land, and some are given as rewards for inciting war. They say that this great sinful act is for the benefit of the Dharma. They say that they are upholding the Buddha's teachings. Sin.
