Don't do it. There is no discussion of organizing through political means to benefit military strategies. For someone who has no connection to the Dharma, mere kindness is not enough to be a refuge. Kindness and parents are great, but they cannot be counted as saints. Is it following the father's religion, or following the mother's religion? For someone without religion, which religion should be followed? Close relationships are not necessarily family, how can they become the lineage of a lama? The essence of the meaning, from the words of the noble Avalokiteśvara: "The wise respect qualities, not Buddhas, Ishvara, etc. If someone respects someone without qualities, that is foolishness, born from non-virtuous actions." Hearing these words, everything is contained within, wise people should contemplate. It is also said that the source of all good paths is none other than the excellent Dharma. All eighty-four thousand teachings are inclined towards secret mantras. The root of mantras is devotion to the guru. For devotion, there needs to be no hypocrisy, even if it is something that needs to be understood by oneself, let alone for worldly people. Nowadays, it is also difficult for practitioners. However, there is no way to not contradict the words of the root guru and not displease the guru. I myself think that it is not enough to just say that I have not created sins towards the guru. It is said that for someone who has no faith in the root guru, if they become close to others, they will also break their vows. Not entrusting external affairs to anyone other than the root guru, and not revealing internal affairs to others, that itself is hypocrisy and vow-breaking. So, before initially relying on a guru, one needs to examine, what kind of guru does one want? The characteristics of a guru have been described countless times in the Sutras and Tantras, and there is no way to finish writing them here. Nowadays, if one is in charge, everything must be based on having a lineage. If taking the vows of a fully ordained monk of individual liberation, one cannot violate the four root vows. Do not commit other notorious sins. For the time being, one needs someone who behaves well within a few days, and is slightly proficient in discipline and rituals. The guru for generating bodhicitta needs to be gentle in nature, have a rough understanding of the Mahayana, not commit notorious sins, and be proficient in rituals. If one wants to receive tantric teachings, one needs to not violate the vows to the guru and Dharma friends, have faith in the yidam deity, have some blessings from accomplishments such as recitation, have a rough understanding of tantra, be proficient in rituals, and not commit major sins.

It is necessary. Any ordinary person can be a lama, regardless of their caste. For great people like kings, it is on top of those. The Tantra says: "A householder who has not attained the ground, the king should not make a lama." And: "Those who consecrate temples, etc., should always be done by those with signs. If three reside in one place, it is not by a householder Vajradhara." Unless one is an accomplished one with manifest signs, even though there is a lineage of Vajradhara renunciates, a householder cannot be the king's lama or perform consecrations. It harms the teachings and is inauspicious. An Avadhuti without the signs of a renunciate is also like a householder. Whoever, a householder, enjoys a dwelling place, servants, farmers, merchants, and those ignorant ones who sell the Dharma, are not Vajradharas on earth. And from other Tantras: "Not to the ignorant, not to the heretics, not to the king, not to the young, not to the eunuch, not to the old, not to those who only like speculation, Bodhicitta is not for the son, not to relatives because of deteriorated conduct, those who diligently train the Vajra of body, speech, and mind, should not be given to the Shravakas either." What is said is in the context of disciples, and it also applies to teachers in reverse. A householder who enjoys a dwelling place refers to one who has a dwelling, property, and wealth, and who has a wife to eat and drink with. Those who claim to be the lineage holders, the bloodline inheritors, are all self-made. Most of their lives they were farmers and merchants, and running as servants, the king's inner attendants, old men who have sons, even if they have talent, if they become the king's lama, it will harm the teachings. As it is said: "Initially, one who is ordered by the king, later becomes the king's lama." Made a bad prophecy. Saying "not to the king" is also this meaning. Most sons who become lamas also know that reverence and pure conduct will not arise, considering this, the teacher-student relationship between father and son is prohibited. Previously in Tibet, sons also had faith in their father Vajradhara, so the lineage of good mantra practitioners continued for generations. Later, that was not the case, so there is this situation of barely making do. Because it is said not to make relatives disciples, it is also prohibited to make relatives lamas. It is said that the king's relatives cannot empower the king. Nowadays, the lamas of local leaders are relatives, etc.
