ག ཚེས་གསུམ་（初三）抵达日喀则(གཞིས་ཀ་རྩེ) ，迎接的是摄政扎西杰培(བཀྲ་ཤིས་དགེ་འཕེལ་)。在马旗和音乐等的引导下，抵达了宫殿。从那天起，开始了噶举教法的开端，虽然日夜都忙于前往军队的事情，但对于消除障碍方面的灌顶和随许，却非常努力。下着大雨，刮着大风等，也显现出神变，外部的征兆和内部的征兆，好坏参半，十三日前往军队。我向摄政王爷献上了灌顶和教法等，因为各方面有些许差异，所以按照需要稍作停留，住了那个剩余的月份。梦塘堪布(སྨོན་ཐང་མཁན་པོ་)和一些饶绛巴(རབ་འབྱམས་པ་)等围绕在摄政王爷身边，献上了密集金刚智慧足传承的灌顶，百种修法的随许，以及包括汉文经典的教证等一些法类的内容。那时缘起很好。一般来说，开始时缘起很好，但因为因缘而改变也很容易。而且，因为下面有一些麻疹，所以即使向地方官阿姐(ཨ་ལྕེ)请求清除，自己也会好，但夏仲巴沃(ཞབས་དྲུང་དཔའ་བོ་)和喇嘛等信任消除痘疹的护法，所以没有进行清除。这时，持咒的度母来到了宗晋(རྫོང་འཛིན་)，所以迎请了她，献上了供品，祈祷了很多，消除了很多障碍，也出现了一些加持的征兆。有一次，梦中出现了一个像是圣救度母的，有着人的形象，装饰着珠宝的年轻女子出现在空中。后来几年，梦中也常常出现像是吉祥香巴拉(ཤམ་བྷ་ལ་)的情景，所以心想，是不是从以前的业力转变，要在那里受生呢？不是那样的话，著作的内容和香巴拉的菩萨们的教言相符，所以说那是缘起。藏历五月初七左右到达江钦(བྱང་ཆེན་)。蒋扬楚臣桑波(འཇམ་དབྱངས་ཚུལ་བཟང་བ་)脸色不好，恰噶举巴(ཕྱ་བཀའ་བཅུ་པ་)也在生病，我只是稍微做了些净化和除障的沐浴。

On the third day, I arrived in Shigatse. The regent Tashi Gephel came to greet me. Led by horse banners and music, I arrived at the palace. From that day on, the beginning of the Kagyu Dharma was initiated. Although I was busy day and night with going to the army, I put great effort into listening to the empowerments and subsequent permissions for dispelling obstacles. There was heavy rain and strong winds, which also manifested as miracles. With mixed external and internal signs, both good and bad, I went to the army on the thirteenth. I offered empowerments and teachings to the regent prince. Because there were some differences in various aspects, I stayed for the remainder of the month as requested. The Khenpo of Montang and some Rabjampas surrounded the regent prince. I offered the empowerment of Guhyasamaja, Yeshe Zhablug tradition, the subsequent permission of the Hundred Methods of Accomplishment, and some Dharma categories including the citations from Chinese texts. At that time, the auspicious connections were very good. Generally, the beginning is auspicious, but it is easy to change due to circumstances. Also, because there were some measles below, even though I requested the local official A-lche to clear them, saying that I would be fine, Shabdrung Pawo and the lamas trusted the protectors who eliminate smallpox, so they did not clear them. At this time, the mantra-reciting Tara came to Dzongzin, so I invited her, offered her offerings, prayed a lot, eliminated many obstacles, and some signs of blessings also appeared. Once, in a dream, a young woman with a human form, adorned with jewels, who I thought was the Holy Tara, appeared in the sky. Later, for several years, I often had dreams that seemed to be of the glorious Shambhala, so I wondered if I was going to be born there due to the transformation of my previous karma. If not, the content of the works matched the teachings of the Bodhisattvas of Shambhala, so it was said that it was an auspicious connection. Around the seventh of the fifth Tibetan month, I arrived at Changchen. Jamyang Tsultrim Sangpo's complexion was bad, and Chagagjupa was also sick. I only did a little purification and obstacle-removing bathing.
