Please allow me to express my respect. Therefore, some people may think like this: In your writings, there is nothing worthy of recording as wonderful Dharma. Besides that, there are many things that are not in accordance with the Dharma, such as bias and attachment, anger, etc. There are also various kinds of talks about high and low, rich and poor. Why write these unpleasant things? I am not particularly happy to write these things, nor have I eliminated faults such as attachment and anger. The differences between happiness and suffering, the changes between enemies and friends, and so on, are the nature of samsara. However, because others earnestly requested, I wrote this article, which is not very important. I also do not know the method of deceiving others by holding strong attachment and anger in my heart and using sweet words to lure them. I have no interest in writing good words of peace, prosperity, and harmony, and hiding words of suffering, decline, and disharmony. Also, do not expect a good liberation to arise from someone like me who is not good. If one's own afflictions burn like fire, but one speaks of the method of taming the mind and the method of being without faults and afflictions, it will become arrogant words that deceive the world. However, the teacher, the Tathagata, has spoken, and the wise and accomplished ones have practiced and taught. Until now, the Dharma, which exists without interruption of blessings, I have also done questioning, viewing, listening, asking others, and cutting off doubts. This is not to hope that I am smart, nor to want to be better than others, but only because I know that liberation from samsara depends on the Dharma, and this requires Dharma that is not mistaken in words and meanings and has an unbroken lineage. Therefore, I did not fear or shrink from the profound and vast Dharma. I did not despise or disrespect the short and clear Dharma, but carefully learned and showed it to others. This is the aspect of my liberation, the first one. From the vast ocean of Sutra and Tantra scriptures, the writings of Maitreya Bodhisattva, and the definitive meaning writings of many wise and accomplished masters of India, as well as the father and son Nagarjuna, and the teachers and disciples of Buddha Jnana Pada, and the great Brahmin Saraha.
