It is said that the act of abandoning the Dharma is heavier than the five inexpiable sins. They could not refute the Buddha's words that were in accordance with the Dharma. Now, those who are great talkers can refute what the Buddha said as provisional meaning as definitive meaning, and definitive meaning as provisional meaning. It is said: O Bhagavan, the only protector of beings! This dispute over your provisional and definitive meanings, Either some are accumulating the karma of uninterrupted hell, Or you yourself must not be omniscient. To you, the omniscient king who speaks the truth, In this world, including the gods, I have never seen anyone refute you in accordance with the Dharma, So you must have gained confidence in the four fearlessnesses. This is an intermediate verse. Explaining the reason for that argument in detail. Second, the reason for explaining that argument in detail is: the reason for saying that the second turning of the Dharma wheel is supreme is as follows: because there is a third turning of the Dharma wheel before this second turning of the Dharma wheel. From the second turning of the Dharma wheel, the reason for the occasion is: because it is taught that "no one will become a Buddha, will not become a Buddha," etc., so the occasion arose when the wrong idea arose that "is there no such thing as becoming a Buddha?" Also, because it is taught that "all the Buddhas of the three times become Buddhas by relying on prajnaparamita and skillful means," etc., sometimes it is said that one becomes a Buddha, and sometimes it is said that one does not become a Buddha. Now, what is it? The occasion arose when doubts arose. Like this, there are very many occasions for wrong ideas and doubts to arise. The reason for saying "provisional meaning" is: because it is often said that "form is suffering, that is, it is separate from anything," so it provokes disputes such as "if it is happiness, then it is suffering, which is contradictory," and it becomes the basis of many disputes. The reason for saying that the third turning of the Dharma wheel is not supreme is: because there is no fourth turning of the Dharma wheel before it. The reason for saying that it is definitive meaning is: because it can be understood literally, and because it shows the ultimate meaning, there is no more ultimate meaning than this that can be shown, so there is nothing that can be guided to a higher level. The reason why there is no occasion and it is not a basis for dispute is also explained clearly, because it is an explanation from form to omniscience.

In summary, all phenomena of complete imputation from form to omniscience are ultimately non-existent, let alone the real entities of conventional truth, which are like dreams. Saying that from form to omniscience is like a dream, like an illusion, and impermanent, etc., means that all phenomena included in other-powered from form to omniscience are described as such. Similarly, all aspects of the twelve deeds of the form body are also described as like a dream, like an illusion. Therefore, complete imputation exists in name only and not in reality, while other-powered exists in name and also in reality, but both are ultimately non-existent. Considering this, the Bhagavan said, "He knows what is non-existent as it is non-existent." And, "The essence of the Thus-gone One is empty of all obscurations of affliction, knowing separation with distinctiveness." And, "Emptiness is a mere expression without manifest clinging and without grasping." And the noble Lord Maitreya said, "Having a nature with distinctions, the element is empty of adventitious defilements." And, "The emptiness here is the non-existence of entities of persons and phenomena." And the noble Asanga also said, "That which is not in a certain place is empty of that." Thus, he truly sees accordingly. And, why is it called emptiness? Because it does not generate all afflictions. And the noble Nagarjuna also said, "The sutra that teaches emptiness, whatever the Victorious One has spoken, all of that stops afflictions, but does not harm that realm." And because of the reasons of sharp wisdom, quick wisdom, great wisdom, and profound wisdom, Knowing Elephant of the Direction, who knew to summarize the meaning of the Mother into two verses, also said, "Stopping all discriminations with words such as 'non-existent,' with examples such as illusion, the other-powered is truly shown, with four purifications, the perfect accomplishment is greatly proclaimed. In the Perfection of Wisdom, the Buddha has not shown anything else." Thus he said. Therefore, since all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have unanimously agreed, the meanings of emptiness and non-existence that are spoken of are all-pervading.
