Because there is no impure dharma. Furthermore, because it possesses purity and afflictions, because it is completely without afflictions, it is pure. And, it contradicts the scriptures that say, "Impure, impure, pure, and extremely pure in order." When that is said, it does not contradict that scripture, because we believe that the Sugata-garbha of sentient beings has two kinds of purity in its essence, but it is not two kinds of purity in relation to sentient beings. Then, in relation to sentient beings, it also becomes two kinds of purity, because in relation to sentient beings, the self-nature of the realm is pure, and it is pure from the beginning with temporary stains. The pervasion exclusion commitment is established as a sign, because there is no dharma that is impure by nature of the realm and stains that are impure from the beginning in relation to any dharma. If there is, say who it is. Also, some say that existence is one extreme, and non-existence is one extreme. Because it is said that way. The Tathagata-garbha and the ultimate Dharmakaya exist ultimately, falling into one extreme. They say that. Listen, that meaning is this: if one commits to any dharma not existing ultimately, one falls into one extreme, because all ultimate dharmas exist ultimately. If one commits to all dharmas existing ultimately, one falls into one extreme, because conventional dharmas do not exist ultimately. Similarly, if one commits to all ultimate dharmas existing conventionally, one falls into one extreme, because ultimate dharmas do not exist conventionally. If one commits to any dharma not existing conventionally, one falls into one extreme, because all conventional dharmas exist conventionally. In that case, the faults of not knowing the distinction between the two truths that will appear below, and the scriptures of the benefits of knowing, should also be accepted. With this reasoning, in the Ornament of the Sutras of Maitreya, "Therefore, the Buddha is neither existent nor is it said to be non-existent." It is necessary to know that this also refers to that meaning. If it is not so, it contradicts the Uttaratantra. Here it is said: Although there are many stars of evil wisdom speaking, they cannot make the lotus garden of profound definitive meaning flourish, they cannot dispel the thick darkness of wrong views, the foundation of the Buddha's teachings.

Cannot be clearly shown. The sole sun of the Fifth Council, Made the ground of the Buddha's teachings clear, Made the lotus garden of profound definitive meaning bloom, And simultaneously dispelled the darkness of wrong views. This is an intermediate verse. Also, some say: In Nagarjuna's "Fundamental Wisdom of the Middle Way," "No permanence, no cessation," is a praise of the Buddha, so there is no Buddha of permanence, stability, peace, and Yungdrung. The meaning of this is: It is said that the phenomena of dependent origination are without permanence or cessation. If it were not so, then the noble Nagarjuna would not accept the Buddha of permanence, stability, and Yungdrung. In the "Hundred Verses of Wisdom," it says, "The supreme state of Yungdrung is supreme, if one does not strive on the basis of goodness, all the perfections seen and unseen, tremble like bubbles in water." And in the "Praise of the Middle Way," "How can you abandon the actual contradiction, of your own nature Dharmakaya, which is permanent, stable, and peaceful?" Therefore, please do not slander Nagarjuna. Also, some say: If the Dharmakaya is viewed as permanent, it will become a permanent view. What they say about the view of permanence and the view of cessation refers to the fact that non-Buddhists consider the non-established self of a person to be permanent, and consider impermanent things such as Ishvara and Brahma to be permanent, which is called the view of permanence. And the materialists consider that there are previous and future lives and karmic results, but consider them to be non-existent, which is called the view of cessation. If one views impermanence as impermanence, and views permanence as permanence, it becomes a view of cessation and a view of permanence. From which sutra is this said? From which tantra is it said? From which treatise is it quoted? By what reasoning is it established? When asked in this way, they replied: There is no opportunity to see the profound sutra section, let alone see the tantra section, it is quoted from a treatise of complete self-desire, and it is established by the reasoning of non-Buddhists. Also, some say: There is a Buddha who is unborn and unceasing, spontaneously accomplished, but there is no permanent Buddha. This is like saying there is heat and burning but no fire, there is moisture and wetness but no water. Because any phenomenon that is unborn and unceasing is the nature of permanence, this is established by scripture and reason. Also, some think that there are few who believe in a permanent Buddha, and many who believe that there is not, so they say to follow the majority.
