Then, paving the way with a few verses of praise and vows. The great master of Oḍḍiyāna (Sanskrit: Oḍḍiyāna, meaning: an ancient place name in India, the origin of Tantra), in his compassionate display, King Leksé (Tibetan: རྒྱལ་སྲས་ལེགས་པ་), invited the profound treasure from the heart of the Naga Tsen Dorje Drakpo (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་དྲག་པོ་) of the Northern Vajra Rock, and bestowed it upon the wise and disciplined Drakpa Pal (Tibetan: མཁས་བཙུན་གྲགས་པ་དཔལ་). He transmitted this lineage uninterruptedly to the mantra holder Hum Jangchub and other lineage masters who uphold the vows, up to the Vidyadhara mantra holder of Depa Drimé Zöpa (Tibetan: སྡེ་པ་གྲི་མཛོད་པ་). He kindly bestowed this teaching upon me. Although it was not clearly stated in the previous compilation, I, with a pure intention to benefit students like myself who are ignorant, have recorded it in an easy-to-understand manner, except for the oral instructions, and pray that the Three Roots deities bestow their blessings. Specifically, in a secluded and delightful practice place such as Yayari Gangri (Tibetan: གཡའ་རི་གངས་རི་), which has been blessed by wise and accomplished masters, spread a white cloth on a platform one cubit high, and sprinkle it with white sandalwood and other fragrances. On the platform filled with flowers, place pure flour that is in accordance with the vows, in a precious vessel, in a place where there is no barking of dogs, add precious substances, and knead it with clean water. Make a white divine yak the size of a thumb, a divine offering cake (Tibetan: ལྷ་བཤོས་) as a backdrop, an abundant 'Dranggyé' (Tibetan: འབྲང་རྒྱས་, a type of offering cake), a triangular snake-entwined torma for the treasure owner, an exorcism torma, dough, fine liquor, a white offering for the right hand, and inner and outer offerings, etc. When performing the activity, in front of the torma (Tibetan: གཏོར་མ་, Sanskrit: bali, meaning: offering cake), place an arrow with feathers, a white silk scarf, and a clear mirror on a container filled with one 'Brey' (Tibetan: བྲེ་, a unit of volume) of barley. Opposite this, on a white felt on which a Yungdrung (Tibetan: གཡུང་དྲུང་, meaning: 卍) symbol is drawn with flowers, have a child (Tibetan: པྲ་བྱིས་) between the ages of eight and sixteen, who is of pure lineage and speaks fluently, sit. This child has not been tainted by worldly affairs, has been bathed and purified, and has been dressed in white silk and other garments. In advance, let this child find a stone that has not been seen by human eyes or touched by human hands, and the diviner (Tibetan: པྲ་མཁན་) takes this stone, wraps it in white or red silk, and places it under his knee, or smears it with butter and places it among the offerings. Also erect arrow banners in the four directions. Prepare clean, fine liquor mixed with vermilion and red ochre to give to the child, and burn uninterrupted white sandalwood and other items. The diviner sits comfortably on the seat and recites the refuge prayer: Refuge: Namo! The embodiment of the Three Roots deities, the assembly of deities who are the nature of the Three Jewels, I and all sentient beings take refuge until enlightenment. Recite three times. Generating Bodhicitta: Generate the supreme aspiration of Bodhicitta, for the benefit of all sentient beings. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Which clearly shows all that should be taken and abandoned. By the merit of performing this divination, May I attain Buddhahood for the benefit of beings! (Repeat three times) Sprinkle water to dispel obstacles: Om Vajra Amrita Kundali Hana Hana Hum Phet! Om Svabhava Shuddhah Sarva Dharma Svabhava Shuddho Ham! Become emptiness. From emptiness, the torma transforms into uncontaminated nectar in a precious vessel. Om Ah Hum! (Repeat three times) Om Akaro Mukham Sarva Dharmanam Adya Nutpannatvat Om Ah Hum Phet Svaha! (Repeat three times) Hum! From the obstacle-maker Vinayaka (Vinayaka, obstacle god), To the assembled demons Garab Dorje (dga' rab dbang phyug, Joyful Empowerment) and others, All the hosts of obstacle-making spirits, Especially the obstacles that harm this divination. Take this offering torma, And quickly depart from here! If you do not leave and remain, The wrathful king will destroy you with punishment. Om Vajra Krodha Hayagriva Hulu Hulu Hum Phet! Recite the four Hum mantras and throw out the obstacle-dispelling torma. Hum! I am the wrathful king Hayagriva, The boundaries are filled with wrathful ones. Do not ever cross the boundaries of the oath-bound protectors, Never transgress! Self-generation visualization: From the primordial purity, all phenomena are free from elaboration, Meditate on great love and compassion. Upon a variegated lotus and moon disc, My own awareness appears as a white Hrih (Hrih, ཧྲཱིཿ, seed syllable) syllable. Light radiates, accomplishing benefit for others, and then gathers back. I myself become the body of the Great Compassionate One. The body is clear white and has a smiling face, Adorned with the ornaments and garments of the Sambhogakaya. Adorned on the crown of the head by Amitabha (Amitabha). The two hands are folded in prayer, the right lower hand holds, A crystal rosary, the left lower hand holds a white lotus. Seated in the vajra posture. Appearing clear, devoid of inherent existence. From the heart of that one, light radiates, inviting one identical to myself, The wisdom being is invited and absorbed. Meditate with the three-fold posture. Om Mani Padme Hum! (Hundred Syllable Mantra, etc.) Afterwards, connect the twenty-seven root mantra syllables with the six clear mantra syllables, reciting for three, five, or seven days, then recite the Hundred Syllable Mantra here to purify the divination: Om Svabhava Shuddhah Sarva Dharma Svabhava Shuddho Ham! Become emptiness. From emptiness, the divination goddess is the clear appearance of the divination goddess, her body white, one face, two arms, extremely beautiful, adorned with silk and various jewels. Seated in a half-lotus posture on a moon seat. Holding a mirror in her hand that reflects the good and bad of all appearances and existence, visualize them becoming one. Bless the divination goddess with the above mantra. From the heart of the deity visualized as myself, light radiates, inviting the clear appearance of the divination goddess from the pure realm.
