May the longevity lord, father and mother, be auspicious! May the lord who acts for the benefit of those to be tamed, may the assembly of attendants be auspicious! Through the power of generating and perfecting recitations, may the two benefits be spontaneously accomplished, may it be auspicious! Thus, the sound of musical instruments should be proclaimed. This profound Dharma, the heart essence of Guru Padmasambhava and Jomo Kharchenza, is now hidden as a precious treasure. May it meet with fortunate ones in future generations! Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Treasure seal! Hidden seal! Profound seal! Secret seal! Om Om! A rosary of precious methods for outer, inner, and secret practices. Homage to the Garwang Immortal God! First, the outer practice: Sit on a comfortable seat, perform refuge, bodhicitta, and accumulate mandala offerings. Recite 'Om Svabhava' etc. From the state of emptiness and selflessness of all dharmas, on a lotus and sun disc, visualize your own mind as the red seed syllable HRIH (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：Hrih), with light. Recite 'Om HRIH Vajra Krodha Hayagriva Hum (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཧྲཱིཿབཛྲ་ཀྲོ་དྷ་ཧྱ་གྲཱྀ་ཝ་ཧཱུྃ༔)', from which it is completely transformed, and you yourself become Hayagriva, with a red body, one face, two arms, three eyes, four bared fangs. All hair, beard, and eyebrows blazing like fire. The right hand holds a curved knife, and the left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood, adorned with a topknot. From within the hair, the loud neighing of a green horse's head resounds in all ten directions. Adorned with the eight charnel ground garments, bones, jewels, and snakes. Both feet stand in a warrior's stance. Visualize the fire of wisdom blazing from the body. In the three places (forehead, throat, heart) are three syllables, and in the heart, the red life-syllable HRIH (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：Hrih) surrounded by mantra, from which rays of light emanate, inviting the wisdom being of the same form from its natural abode. The two hands hold a longevity vase on the equalizing posture, visualize it as an appearance without inherent existence. From the three places (forehead, throat, heart) of that, the three syllables and the red life-syllable HRIH (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：Hrih) with the mantra garland, rays of light invite the wisdom being of the same form. From the garland of mantras at the heart of Amitayus (Tsepakme), the Buddha of Limitless Life, and from all parts of his body, emanated immeasurable rays of light. Contemplate that these dissolve into yourself, thereby receiving empowerment, blessings, and accomplishment. Recite: Om Amara Ni Jiwanti Ye Soha. Reciting seven million times will pacify obstacles to life and bring accomplishment. Finally, contemplate that the lama Amitayus dissolves into yourself, becoming inseparable. Second, the inner practice: Visualize the deities as a precious vase filled with the nectar of activity, and then perform recitation and other practices. Also, make this distinction in the visualization of the recitation: From the space and secret place of the main father and mother deities descends the nectar of bodhichitta; from the bodies of the retinue deities comes nectar like milk, filling all the places of the five chakras of your own body. Contemplate that the sound of bliss and rays of light radiate in the ten directions, drawing all the essence of samsara and nirvana, animate and inanimate, like a magnet draws iron filings, involuntarily into your own heart, thereby obtaining the immortal vajra life. Recite: Om Hya Griwa Guru Ayu Siddhi Maha Sukha Samaya Mama Ayurjnana Tshe Bhrum Nri Dza Sarva Siddhi Pala Hum. Reciting five million times will bring the accomplishment of bliss-emptiness life. Third, the secret practice: Go to a mountaintop and sit upright in the early morning, facing the eastern sky. Perform refuge and generate bodhichitta. Visualize yourself as Amitayus father and mother, as described in the sadhana. Hold the pride of being inseparable from the samaya and jnana beings. From the union emanate rays of light filling the sky. Contemplate that all the limitless skies of the world, including the eastern sky as far as you can see, gather like white autumn clouds and enter your mouth, dissolving into your heart, thereby obtaining the vajra life of space. Meditate with single-pointed focus. The mantra is: Om Ah Hum Hrih Bhrum. Recite only these five syllables. Sometimes, contemplate that Hayagriva father and mother from all the fields of the ten directions come in countless forms, like a blizzard, dissolving into yourself. Elevate awareness and recite a long Hum. In this way, by striving every day from sunrise until noon for one month, you will undoubtedly obtain the supreme accomplishment of longevity. Afterward, in a state of non-attachment to the appearance of deities, perform dedication and aspiration.
