English

After reciting 'རྒྱས་གཤེགས་སུ་གསོལ༔' (Prayers for the deceased to attain Buddhahood), add 'ཧྲཱི༔' (seed syllable, Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, meaning: shame) and connect 'བདག་གི་མགོན་པོ་' (My Protector) etc. according to the sadhana, up to the end of the praise. Then, visualize from your heart, the mandala of wisdom, including the deity and retinue, separated and residing inseparable from the support of the front generation. Perform the recitation and visualization accordingly, and recite as much as possible. For the deity in front, perform offerings, praises, supplications, confessions, etc., as described in the sadhana. The second part is about the details of the visualization and recitation of the pills: Prepare the vase and the pills, purify with 'ཨོཾ་ཧ་ཡ་གྲཱི་བ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ་' (Om, Hayagriva, Hum, Phat), cleanse with 'སྭཱ་བྷཱ་ཝས་སྦྱང་' (Svabhava). Visualize the vase as an inconceivable state of emptiness, in the center of various lotuses and moon discs, there is 'བྷྲཱུྃ་' (seed syllable, Tibetan: བྷྲཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: भ्रूं, Sanskrit Romanization: bhrūṃ, wrathful deity seed syllable) complete with five letters. The outer appearance is a precious vase, the interior is a huge palace with four doors. The center is decorated with a radiant vajra jewel top, adorned with umbrellas, banners, streamers, and various treasures. Inside, on the stamens of the four-petaled lotus, each pill contains the essence of samsara and nirvana. On the lotus and moon cushion, light radiates from the seed syllable and the Dharma instruments, benefiting beings, gathering into Avalokiteśvara. He is white, with four hands, sitting in vajra posture, adorned with silk and jewels. The two main hands form the mudra of granting wishes, holding a mani jewel, the lower two hands hold a crystal rosary and the stem of a white lotus. In the four directions around him are the Avalokiteśvaras of the four families, white, yellow, red, and green respectively, all with one face and two arms, holding the refuge-granting mudra and a lotus, wearing the attire of the Sambhogakaya. In the three places (forehead, throat, heart) are marked with three letters (Om, Ah, Hum). From his heart, emanates the action Vajrasattva Avalokiteśvara, who appears in a standing posture with the red light of 'འཁོར་བ་དོང་སྤྲུགས་' (emptying the cycle of existence), naked, without any adornments, holding a lotus rosary and a vase. Countless rays of light radiate like dust particles in the sunlight, filling all the containers and contents of the three realms, clearly showing the taming of beings, liberating them from the abyss of samsara. The four doors are surrounded by delightful offering goddesses. From the forms of the self-arisen Vajra three syllables, light radiates, inviting the assembly of wisdom deities filling the sky, merging into one. According to the sadhana, perform from invitation to praise. Hold the mantra rope at your heart. Visualize a chain of mantras emanating from your heart, passing through the Vajra path of the mantra rope, reaching the heart streams of the deities of the front generation mandala, especially the vase deity. From them, light radiates, offering to the gurus, yidams, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Dakinis of the ten directions, and stimulating their vows. From them, the blessings of wisdom, compassion, and power, all gather in the form of light nectar, merging into oneself, thereby obtaining supreme radiance and power. With the samadhi that thoroughly shakes samsara, awaken the mudra that arises in the four postures of existence. The essence of the pure elements of the inner and outer five elements, merge into one indivisible bindu. Thus, grasping its essence, recite 'oṃ padma uṣṇīṣa bimala hūṃ phaṭ' as the main mantra, and at appropriate times recite the six-syllable mantra 'oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ hrīḥ'. And 'oṃ vipula garbhe maṇi prabhe tathāgate nirdheśani maṇi maṇi suprabhe vimale sāgara gambhīra hūṃ hūṃ jvala jvala buddha vilokite guhya adhiṣṭhite garbhe svāhā'. 'padma dhāra amogha jaya te curu curu svāhā'. Combine the dharani mantras that shake samsara, and recite them as appropriate. At the end, recite the essence of vowels, consonants, and dependent origination three times each to compensate for the omissions of the mantra and consolidate its power. Pray in this way. The third part is the conclusion, which is divided into common and specific parts. The first part has three points: performing the seven-branch offering to accumulate merit, offering tormas to pacify obstacles, and bestowing blessings to quickly attain accomplishments, as well as detailed explanations of other rituals.
