Meditate on the Protector Amitābha (Sanskrit: Amitābha, meaning 'Immeasurable Light'), adorned with the three robes of a manifestation body, hands in meditative equipoise holding a lapis lazuli bowl filled with nectar. Visualize him seated in vajra posture on a lotus and moon cushion. At your heart, visualize a fully blossomed lotus and sun disc, in the center of which is the embodiment of all yidam deities, the powerful and loving Hayagrīva (Sanskrit: Hayagrīva), reddish-brown in color, majestic with the demeanor of nine dances. His right hand holds a hooked knife, his left a skull cup filled with blood, fully adorned with the eight charnel ground ornaments. In the midst of blazing flames, he stands with his left leg extended, triumphantly upon a seat of the four maras. Embracing him is his consort, the chief of the gathering of hundreds of thousands of dakinis, Vajravārāhī (Sanskrit: Vajravārāhī), dark blue in color, holding a hooked knife in her right hand and a skull cup in her left, tightly embracing him. Adorned with precious jewels and the six bone ornaments, flourishing in the bloom of bliss, with a horse head above her father's crown and a sow face laughing above her mother's crown. From your body radiate clouds of the three roots (guru, deva, dakini) like an ocean, and all Dharma protectors, wealth deities, and treasure lords gather like servants. Awakening to the fact that all phenomena of existence and non-existence have been primordially abiding in the nature of the mandala of the three roots like an ocean, thereby manifesting existence and non-existence as deities. Thus, by clearly visualizing the dependent and the depended-upon wheel, one purifies the impure appearances and attachments of the container and its contents, and perfectly accomplishes the mandala of the dependent and the depended-upon at the time of fruition. And at the time of the path, it becomes the maturing cause for meditating on the yoga of the channels, winds, and bindus of the completion stage. If you wish to elaborate, it should be understood elsewhere. Second, blessing the three places: At the crown of the body's great seal, visualize the essence of the body vajra of all Buddhas, a white Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit: ओ, Roman transliteration: oṃ, literal meaning: perfection); at the throat, visualize the essence of speech vajra, a red Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit: आ, Roman transliteration: āḥ, literal meaning: arising); at the heart, visualize the essence of mind vajra, a blue Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit: हुं, Roman transliteration: hūṃ, literal meaning: immovable), thus sealing the three doors with the three vajras. Third, making the wheel of fruition wisdom inseparable, divided into the main practice and the incidental. First, inviting, merging, and requesting to abide with the four doors of secret mantra, including samadhi, mantra, mudra, and exhortation. Among these, the four doors of secret mantra are as follows: As it is said: 'Representation, symbol, sign, and mudra are the door of dance; vow, key point, and exhortation are the door of secret mantra; focus, one-pointedness, and samadhi are the door of mind; ultimate meaning, clarification, and expression are the door of speech.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As it is said, from the three syllables (འབྲུ་གསུམ་) marked at the three places (གནས་གསུམ་), countless rays of light emanate, inviting all the assemblies of the root three (རྩ་གསུམ་) victorious ones residing in the boundless realms of the ten directions to fill the space before us in the form of wisdom beings (ཡེ་ཤེས་སེམས་དཔའ). Recite 'Bajra Sama Ja' (བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ, Tibetan) and perform the vajra gathering mudra, invoking the samaya with the words 'Hum Hri' (ཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱིཿ, Tibetan) and mantras such as 'Lotus Light'. 'Ja' (ཛཿ, Tibetan) means gathering in front, 'Hum' (ཧཱུྃ་, Tibetan) means merging with oneself, 'Bam' (བཾ་, Tibetan) means entering into one taste with oneself, 'Ho' (ཧོཿ, Tibetan) means remaining inseparable in one taste until one attains the essence of enlightenment. Thus, contemplate that the samaya and wisdom beings are inseparable, and request them to remain inseparable, clarifying with the words 'Hum Hri, outer vessel pure and boundless'. Secondly, as an incidental elaboration, first perform prostrations and offerings, then arrange the offerings in place, and conclude with praising the great qualities, doing these in three parts: First, visualize offering goddesses emanating from one's heart prostrating with gestures, reciting 'Ati Pu Ho' (ཨ་ཏི་པཱུ་ཧོཿ, Tibetan), and practicing the meaning of 'Prati Titsa Ho' (པྲ་ཏི་ཙྪ་ཧོཿ, Tibetan), then visualize the goddesses dissolving into oneself. With actual offerings and visualized offering goddesses, generate joy by offering the seven approches and five desirable qualities, medicine, alcohol, torma, and the great bliss of uniting the consort (ཡུམ་ཕྱག་རྒྱ་མ་) and the secret lotus (གསང་བའི་དབང་པོ་), and visualize the goddesses dissolving into their respective places. Remembering the great qualities of the yidam (ཡི་དམ་) and the root three, praise them with vajra songs. These should also be practiced by combining the methods of purification, completion, and maturation. Secondly, training in the clear appearance of the immovable samadhi (ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་), there are three parts: training in clear appearance, training in pride, and training in pure recollection. First, in order to reverse the coarse appearance of ordinary impurity, the method of training in the appearance and attachment to the deity's form is as follows: Just as an image appears in a clear, undisturbed pond, visualize the complete form of the deity clearly appearing, without the faults of sinking or scattering, and meditate with single-pointed concentration. When the clear appearance of the general aspect of awareness arises, without losing the general clear appearance, from the eyes and so on to the feet, the parts of the body, from the top of the hat to the throne below, the parts of the ornaments, visualize each one clearly, so that the mind is focused on each one, and strive to meditate until the distinct clear appearances of each one are not mixed up and subtle details arise. The distinct clear appearances of each one --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
