And, to train in the clear appearance of the Samadhi of Achala (Immovable One). The first has three parts: establishing the foundation with the three basic Samadhis, meditating on the Mandala of Samaya vows on the path, and realizing the inseparability of the wisdom wheel of the result. The first has three parts: Great Emptiness, All-Appearance, and Causal Samadhi. First, all phenomena are primordially pure, and their essence is the great expanse of emptiness, free from the three characteristics of arising, abiding, and ceasing. The two truths are inseparable, abiding in the great bliss of the supreme Dharmakaya. This is Suchness or the Great Emptiness Samadhi. This purifies and cleanses death and the intermediate state; upwards, it nurtures the seeds for manifesting the Dharmakaya, thereby establishing the interdependence for accomplishing the perfect result. In between, it lays the foundation for the arising of the meaning-luminosity in the continuum, thus it becomes the maturing cause for the higher stage of the Completion Phase. Here, one can also generate the pride of linking the base and the result, saying, 'The purification of death and the intermediate state is the Dharmakaya.' The following should also be understood similarly. Second, All-Appearance: Like waves arising from water, from the essence of Suchness, all phenomena of Samsara and Nirvana abide in the great bliss of the supreme Dharmakaya. To liberate all beings who have not realized this to the state of Buddhahood, one cultivates great compassion that pervades the sky, this is All-Appearance. This purifies the intermediate state and establishes the interdependence for perfecting the Sambhogakaya; it lays the foundation for the cause of arising the Union deity from luminosity—great compassion. Third, from the Great Emptiness of Suchness, connecting with compassion, the sound of awareness is the single seal, visualizing the white seed syllable (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:Great Compassion) HRĪḤ of the cause, clear and bright like the moon in a cloudless sky, from which blaze forth five-colored rays, like a rainbow appearing in the sky. This purifies the consciousness attached to desire in the place of birth; it establishes the interdependence for manifesting the Nirmanakaya from the Sambhogakaya; it lays the foundation for manifesting the wisdom deity in the Completion Phase. Second, on the path, meditating on the Mandala of Samaya vows, including: visualizing the dependent palace, and the deity who depends on it. First, from the root seed syllable, rays of light emanate, purifying all impure appearances and attachments of the vessel and contents, from the nature of innate luminosity, visualizing the palace made purely of the self-manifestation of pure wisdom, with the four elements stacked in order, including Mount Meru, above which is the palace made of jewels, with all its measurements and characteristics fully complete, and the Vajra protection wheel. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let us all visualize clearly. Visualize the deity in the center of the mandala, upon a lotus, sun, and moon cushion. The second part is visualizing the deity, including the actual generation of the deity and the blessing of the three places. First, upon the cushion, from the syllable Hrih (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:Great compassion) descends, radiating light. Offerings are made to the noble ones, blessings are gathered, and the obscurations of sentient beings are purified. The rays of light gather back and completely transform, and I become the embodiment of all gurus, Padmasambhava, with a complexion of white tinged with red, a face that is peaceful, and eyes that gaze intently with a slightly wrathful demeanor, and is beautiful. On the body, inside, is a white vajra secret garment. On top of that is a blue brocade robe or mantra cloak. On top of that are the three Dharma robes. On top of that is a reddish-brown cloak. On the head is a beautifully adorned Shawa's hat. The right hand holds a golden vajra with a threatening gesture, raised in the sky. From the tip of the threatening gesture emanates the wrathful guru Heruka, with a red complexion and a garland of flames of wisdom blazing around the body. The right hand holds an iron vajra, and the left hand takes from the throat of sin, fully adorned with all the wrathful implements. Surrounded by the four classes of wrathful deities, from which emanate immeasurable clouds of emanations. Visualize all of this clearly. Thus, the general form of the body, gestures, and symbols, and in particular the emanation of the five classes of wrathful deities, is a symbol of the completion of the vase empowerment, and also a symbol of the completion of the secret empowerment. The left hand rests in the gesture of equanimity, holding a skull cup filled with nectar, filled with the essence of the nectar of wisdom that bestows the supreme immortality. From it radiate five colors of white, yellow, red, green, and blue. From it, like dust motes in the sunlight, emanate and gather the hosts of swift goddesses, thereby attracting the life essence of existence and peace. This is a symbol of the completion of the wisdom empowerment, with the consort Mandarava and the khatvanga hidden in the crook of the arm as a symbol of skillful means, effortlessly drawing forth the wisdom of the four joys. As a symbol of the completion of the fourth empowerment, the innate great bliss blazes with supreme splendor, and the eyes gaze intently. The two feet of skillful means and wisdom are in a posture of royal ease, with the right leg slightly extended and the left leg bent. Within a great mass of swirling rainbow light and spheres, overwhelming all appearances and existence, being the master of all samsara and nirvana, the embodiment of the three roots and the collection of all victorious ones, visualize the chief of all, and at the crown of the head, the lord of the family. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
