It is called 'The Middle Way Free from All Extremes'. Having understood this, abide in a state free from clinging, With a mind that does nothing, rest in equanimity. By pacifying conceptual thoughts and realizing the nature of reality, Accomplishments such as clairvoyance, direct perception, and retention naturally arise. Gradually attain the paths and grounds, This is the causal vehicle of Pāramitā (Tibetan: ཕ་རོལ་ཕྱིན་པ་, meaning: reaching the other shore). The path of the resultant vehicle also possesses emptiness and compassion, The union of these two is taken as the basis of the path. Thereafter is the sequence of planting seeds: Inspiring the mindstream with renunciation is the lineage of the Great Vehicle. By becoming skilled in the two aspects of Bodhicitta (Tibetan: བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་, meaning: mind of enlightenment), For the fortunate one who desires to quickly accomplish Buddhahood, one's own body, speech, mind, and wisdom, Abide in the essence of the four vajras. Through the skillful means of the unsurpassed secret mantra, Perform the four empowerments, planting the four seeds. That which purifies the body's channels is the vase empowerment, The body vajra is the seed of the Nirmāṇakāya. That which purifies the speech's winds is the secret empowerment, The speech vajra is the seed of the Sambhogakāya. That which purifies the mind and bindus is the wisdom empowerment, The mind vajra is the seed of the Dharmakāya. That which purifies the habitual tendencies of the ālaya is the meaning empowerment, The wisdom vajra is the seed of the Svābhāvikakāya. All of these empowerments, for common individuals, Include the abiding deity and are the cause of maturation and liberation. However, for some with sharp faculties, merely through the introduction of symbolic means, Or through supreme meditation alone, liberation will occur. The life force of empowerment is the samaya vow, It is the discipline of mantra that does not transgress, possessing branches. All that is summarized by the general, specific, and additional precepts, Must be purified and protected in the manner of outer, inner, and secret. Thus, for the individual whose mindstream is matured and purified, The sequence of the path that generates the seed is: first, in connection with the vase empowerment, In order to purify the clinging to ordinary appearances of the vessel and its contents, one must train in the common and special generation stages. In that generation stage, the deity to be accomplished and the means to accomplish it, as well as the path of how to accomplish it and the result, The deities to be accomplished are the Guru, Yidam, and assembly of Ḍākinīs. Although the distinctions of peaceful and wrathful are inconceivable, If one desires to quickly obtain the blessings and extraordinary siddhis, one should meditate on Padmasambhava (Tibetan: པདྨ་, Sanskrit: padma, Romanized Sanskrit: padma, literal meaning: lotus) as the union of all three roots. Furthermore, in order to dispel all outer obstacles, one should practice Padmasambhava (Tibetan: པདྨ་འབྱུང་, Sanskrit: padmasambhava, Romanized Sanskrit: padmasambhava, literal meaning: lotus born) to suppress the appearances of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, And practice the three kāyas of Padmasambhava—body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities—as well as the power of the Vidyādharas and the twelve emanations, Practicing recitation in general and specific ways. In order to spontaneously accomplish the inner supreme and common desires, One should practice the Great Bliss Padmasambhava (Tibetan: པདྨ་སཾ་བྷ་བ, Sanskrit: padmasambhava, Romanized Sanskrit: padmasambhava, literal meaning: lotus born), The Wish-Fulfilling Jewel Padmasambhava and the thirteen deities, approaching the means of the generation and completion stages and liberation. The secret is the indivisibility of space and awareness, The form of the mudrā appears as the Ocean-Born Vajradhara (Tibetan: མཚོ་སྐྱེས་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་, Sanskrit: vajradhara, Romanized Sanskrit: vajradhara, literal meaning: holder of the vajra), the union of all three roots. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
