Visualize the deity holding a vajra in the right hand at the heart and a bell in the left hand, adorned with various ornaments, radiating light. Above it, visualize the Sixth Vajradhara, blue in color, holding a vajra and bell, adorned with six bone ornaments. Above that, visualize the Dharmakaya Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) in union, blue or white in color, with hands in meditative equipoise, adorned with jewels and bone ornaments. Visualize all of these as appearing but without inherent existence, unmixed, each clear and distinct, like a rainbow in the sky. Visualize these lamas arranged neatly in tiers, one above the other. Think that all of them are looking at you with great love, like a mother gazing at her only child. Visualize yourself surrounded by all sentient beings of the six realms, with your parents at the forefront. Then, look at these Kagyu lamas with reverence. Thinking: 'Alas, these Kagyu lamas, even though they have attained Buddhahood in the pure land of Great Bliss, I still have to wander in the city of suffering in samsara. I am so unfortunate!' Feeling weary and discouraged, with a strong desire to escape from this ocean of suffering in samsara, like a prisoner wanting to escape from prison, lead all beings, with yourself at the forefront, in offering earnest prayers to the lamas. Visualize the lamas praying upwards in succession, from the bottom to the top. Entrust yourself entirely to the lama, placing all hope and refuge in the lama, not just in words, but trusting wholeheartedly, without hesitation, offering earnest prayers from the depths of your heart. The prayer text is known elsewhere. This is the earnest prayer. Second, taking it as a way of receiving blessings and empowerment: Because you have offered earnest prayers, the lamas above, with great compassion, thinking of you with unbearable tenderness, transmit their minds down in succession. Kuntuzangpo in union dissolves into Vajradhara, Vajradhara dissolves into Vajrasattva. Similarly, like ghee dissolving into ghee, one dissolves into another, light dissolves into light, finally dissolving into the root lama. Then, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions dissolve into the lama. Next, from the crown of the lama's head, a white Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:Perfection), in the form of light rays and bindus, dissolves into your forehead, visualizing that you have received the vase empowerment and attained the siddhi of the body. Similarly, from the throat, a red Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:Arising), and from the heart, a blue Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Immovable), dissolve into your three places in succession, visualizing that you have received the blessings of body, speech, and mind. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then, receive the four empowerments in sequence. A great light of five colors descends from the body of the Lama (teacher), dissolving into one's own body, speech, and mind. Meditate on receiving the complete four empowerments of body, speech, and mind. After that, visualize the Lama dissolving from one's crown into oneself, entering the center of the eight-petaled lotus in one's heart, which opens upwards. Turn awareness inwards and meditate thus: 'Ema! The Dharmakaya (body of truth) of the Buddha is free from the extremes of elaboration. I have not become a being to be tamed by the Sambhogakaya (body of enjoyment). The Nirmanakaya (body of emanation) of the Lama Buddha is my Lama!' Thus, contemplate the qualities and kindness of the Lama, and with unwavering faith, regard the Lama as the actual Buddha. Third, blending inseparably with the Lama: That which dwells in the center of one's heart, in an instant, transforms into a blue Hum Again, that Hum transforms, becoming a bindu (drop) endowed with five lights. When that bindu radiates light from the heart, it spreads extensively, dissolving into one's own body, speech, and mind. The body, speech, and mind of the Lama and one's own three doors mix inseparably, so that the blessings and realization of the aforementioned Lamas are transferred and obtained in one's own being like pouring from one vase to another. In that state, relax without contrivance, being loose, open, and naked. Oh! Abiding in such a state of mind-free awareness, the raw, natural clarity, where the continuity of past and future thoughts is cut off, is the very essence of the aforementioned Lamas now present. Therefore, it is called 'meeting the Lama of intrinsic awareness'. Fourth, being introduced by the way of meeting the Lama of intrinsic awareness: After supplicating the Lamas with fervent longing, blend one's heart and mind inseparably with them, meeting the Lama of intrinsic awareness, Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), free from the fault of relying on external blessings. A more detailed explanation can be found in the Terma (treasure teachings). This is particularly superior to all the general instructions of Dzogchen (Great Perfection). This is profound and wondrous; if one cultivates it diligently, all blessings and realizations will arise suddenly and transcendently. Samaya! The fifth general point is about the direct instructions of Trekchö (cutting through solidity), which has six aspects: First, cutting the root of the three places of arising, dwelling, and going; second, forcefully establishing the introduction; third, relying on the vase-breath chakra, separating the essence and dregs of wind and awareness, and recognizing the nature. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
