Kyé ho! The powerful Vajradhara, endowed with the five poisons and five wisdoms, in order to obtain the teachings of the four empowerments, please bestow the supreme empowerment of the peaceful and wrathful deities!' (Recite three times). Here, for special disciples, the common and uncommon refuge and bodhicitta are usually given first, but for convenience, it is done here as a common ritual. Visualize the master as inseparable from the deity in front, the peaceful and wrathful deities, the mandala of the hundred families of transmission, and the assembly of the three roots and protectors appearing before you. I and others, and all sentient beings of the three realms and six realms, from now until the attainment of enlightenment, take refuge with one-pointed devotion. Follow me in reciting: 'Ho! Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, Gurus, Ishtadevas, Dakinis, we and the six realms of beings take refuge. The Buddha, the chief of the two-legged, and the peaceful, desireless, holy Dharma, the supreme Sangha, the field of merit, we and the six realms of beings take refuge. The root guru, the source of blessings, the Ishtadeva who grants accomplishments, the assembly of Dharma protectors who dispel obstacles, we and the six realms of beings take refuge. The Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya, we and the six realms of beings take refuge!' (Recite three times). May all sentient beings, as numerous as the sky, be obscured by ignorance...

These teachings were not only bestowed upon the past and future assemblies but also concealed in many treasures, considering the disciples of later generations. Among these, the great treasure revealer, Orgyen Dorje Lingpa (King of Dharma), an emanation of the great translator Vairochana, is said to have unearthed one hundred and eight major and minor treasures. Among these treasures, the most extraordinary are the instructions on the Great Perfection, the non-dual father and mother tantras. Taken from Ngamshö Namchak Drak, and personally bestowed by Guru Rinpoche, they include an inconceivable amount of Dharma and sacred object treasures, beginning with the 'Four Assemblies' and other such texts. This is a component of the Great Perfection father tantra view—the expanse of space, concerning the empowerment of destruction, the subtle points of the essential, and the introduction of awareness as if planting a spear. As it is said in our own tradition: 'The one with the highest faculties is liberated in that instant; the middling one sees the truth in an instant; the lowest one, even by merely receiving the empowerment, will rise one level; even a sentient being who merely makes a connection with it will be liberated into a nirmanakaya!' Therefore, it possesses great benefits and necessity, and is the essence of all empowerments. With the above statements as an introduction, begin the offering of the mandala. Join your palms with flowers, pray with unwavering faith and devotion, and repeat after me: 'Kyé ho!

Under the control of others, from beginningless time, constantly suffering in the great ocean of samsara due to the three sufferings, with immeasurable love and compassion, I vow to liberate and comfort myself from the state of complete enlightenment of the perfect Buddha. Please repeat this aspiration: HO! May the Three Jewels hear! From now until I attain Bodhi, towards all sentient beings of the six realms, with the perception of mother and child, in order to liberate those who have not been liberated, to free those who have not been freed, and to comfort those who have not been comforted, I generate the aspiration of Bodhicitta! (Repeat three times) In order to accomplish such supreme meaning, just as all the Buddhas and their retinues, abandoning all faults of their own minds, accumulating virtuous dharmas, and with the discipline of benefiting sentient beings, I too shall learn these entering (Bodhisattva's) actions. Please repeat this: HO! Just as the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and all the Buddhas of the past, abide in the precepts, from now until samsara is empty, we shall generate the supreme entering Bodhicitta, learn and practice the six paramitas, liberate all beings with diligence, uphold the three disciplines that benefit all, I take the vow of generating Bodhicitta, liberate the unliberated, liberate the unsaved, comfort the suffering, and lead them to Nirvana. (Repeat three times) In particular, in order to properly take the vows and commitments of the Secret Mantra Vajrayana, which are summarized by the common, special, and more special, please repeat this with the intention of properly upholding them: Just as the Buddhas of the past and their retinues, and the immeasurable assembly of Vidyadharas and Dakinis, uphold the outer, inner, secret, and supreme vows and the endless ocean of precepts, from now on, I too shall enter this great path, and uphold these for the benefit of beings. (Repeat three times) Next is the establishment of the basis for empowerment and the descent of the wisdom being, so you must properly restrain the three doors of body, speech, and mind, and focus single-pointedly without distraction on this visualization. You should visualize yourselves instantaneously transforming into the powerful Hayagriva on a lotus and sun disc, with a red-colored body, holding a curved knife and skull cup with the mudra of subjugation, adorned with bone ornaments, standing in a red mass of light in a posture of extending and contracting the legs, and with intense devotion, generate the power of awareness. Recollect from the essence of the natural Dharmadhatu. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
