English
Explaining its meaning from the Guru and recognizing it in one's own mind: The power of self-awareness wisdom abiding in the body of ignorance causes forty kinds of conceptual thoughts to arise in the self-continuum of sentient beings. However, this does not go beyond the scope of self-awareness wisdom. These five aggregates of the body are the five fathers: form is Vajrasattva (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ་, meaning: Diamond Mind), consciousness is Amitabha (Tibetan: སྣང་བ་མཐའ་ཡས་, meaning: Infinite Light), perception is Vairochana (Tibetan: རྣམ་པར་སྣང་མཛད་, meaning: Completely Manifesting), feeling is Ratnasambhava (Tibetan: རིན་ཆེན་འབྱུང་ལྡན་, meaning: Jewel-born), and volition is Amoghasiddhi (Tibetan: དོན་ཡོད་གྲུབ་པ, meaning: Meaningful Achievement). The five elements are also the five mothers: blood is Vajra Mamaki (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་མཱ་མ་ཀཱི, meaning: Diamond Mother), warmth is Padma Pandara (Tibetan: པདྨ་གོས་དཀར་མོ, meaning: Lotus White-clad), flesh is Ratnasambhava Buddha Eye (Tibetan: རིན་ཆེན་སངས་རྒྱས་སྤྱན, meaning: Jewel Buddha Eye), breath is Karma Tara (Tibetan: དམ་ཚིག་སྒྲོལ, meaning: Vow Tara), and mind is Dharmadhatu Ishvari (Tibetan: ཆོས་དབྱིངས་དབང་ཕྱུག་མ, meaning: Dharmadhatu自在母). From the power of self-awareness, the six Munis manifest: pride is the Deva Muni (Tibetan: ང་རྒྱལ་ལྷ་ཡི་ཐུབ་པ་, meaning: Pride Deva Muni), jealousy is the Asura Muni (Tibetan: ཕྲག་དོག་ལྷ་མིན་ཐུབ་པའོ, meaning: Jealousy Asura Muni), desire is the Human Muni (Tibetan: འདོད་ཆགས་མི་ཡི་ཐུབ་པ་སྟེ, meaning: Desire Human Muni), ignorance is the Animal Muni (Tibetan: གཏི་མུག་བྱོལ་སོང་ཐུབ་པའོ, meaning: Ignorance Animal Muni), miserliness is the Preta Muni (Tibetan: སེར་སྣ་ཡི་དྭགས་ཐུབ་པ་སྟེ, meaning: Miserliness Preta Muni), and hatred is the Hell Muni (Tibetan: ཞེ་སྡང་དམྱལ་བའི་ཐུབ་པའོ, meaning: Hatred Hell Muni). The eight aggregates of consciousness are the objects and subjects, and are the eight male and female deities: eye and form are Lasya (Tibetan: ལཱ་སྱཻ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: लासय्, Sanskrit Romanization: lāsyai, Chinese literal meaning: Charming) parents, ear and sound are Singer (Tibetan: གླུ་མ་, meaning: Singer) parents, nose and smell are Incense (Tibetan: བདུག་སྤོས་, meaning: Incense) parents, tongue and taste are Pushpe (Tibetan: པུཥྤེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: पुष्पे, Sanskrit Romanization: puṣpe, Chinese literal meaning: Flower) parents, body and touch are Malye (Tibetan: མཱ་ལྱེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: माल्ये, Sanskrit Romanization: mālye, Chinese literal meaning: Garland) parents, mind and dharma are Dancer (Tibetan: གར་མ་, meaning: Dancer) parents, afflicted mind is Gandhe (Tibetan: གནྡྷེ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: गन्धे, Sanskrit Romanization: gandhe, Chinese literal meaning: Fragrance) parents, and Alaya consciousness is Clear Light (Tibetan: སྣང་གསལ་, meaning: Clear Light). The four doors are the four doorkeepers: the water door is Hook (Tibetan: ལྕགས་ཀྱུ་, meaning: Hook) parents, the earth door is Lasso (Tibetan: ཞགས་པ་, meaning: Lasso) parents, the fire door is Chain (Tibetan: ལྕགས་སྒྲོག་, meaning: Chain) parents, and the wind door is Bell (Tibetan: དྲིལ་བུ་, meaning: Bell) parents. The white and red bindus are the sun and moon, the primordial Samantabhadra parents (Tibetan: ཀུན་བཟང་ཡབ་ཡུམ, meaning: Primordial Buddha parents), the union of appearance and emptiness, method and wisdom. Again, from the power of awareness, the five bodies also manifest: because awareness wisdom manifests everything, it is the body of Vairochana (Tibetan: རྣམ་པར་སྣང་མཛད་ཀྱི་སྐུ, meaning: Vairochana's body). Because awareness wisdom is unchanging, it is the body of Akshobhya Vajra (Tibetan: མི་བསྐྱོད་རྡོ་རྗེའི་སྐུ་, meaning: Unmoving Vajra's body). Because awareness wisdom is like a precious jewel, it is the body of Ratnasambhava (Tibetan: རིན་ཆེན་འབྱུང་ལྡན་གྱི་སྐུ་, meaning: Ratnasambhava's body). Because awareness wisdom is limitless, it is the body of Amitabha (Tibetan: སྣང་བ་མཐའ་ཡས་ཀྱི་སྐུ་, meaning: Amitabha's body). Because awareness wisdom accomplishes everything, it is the body of Amoghasiddhi (Tibetan: དོན་ཡོད་གྲུབ་པའི་སྐུ་, meaning: Amoghasiddhi's body). From the power of awareness, the five wisdoms also manifest: because the essence of awareness manifests unhindered, it is the mirror-like wisdom. Because awareness wisdom pervades everything, it is the wisdom of equality. Because awareness wisdom manifests various powers, it is the discriminating wisdom. Because awareness wisdom is the seed of all qualities, it is the accomplishing wisdom. All of these gather into the purity of essence, hence it is the Dharmakaya (Tibetan: ཆོས་, meaning: Dharma). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
