Then, apply scented water to the three places visualized as Vajrasattva (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ) on the disciple, and recite: Om (Tibetan: ཨཱོྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Body), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal meaning: Speech), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Mind). Recite countless times 'Om Vajra Pravesha Ho (Tibetan: ཨཱོྃ་བཛྲ་པྲ་ཝེ་ཤ་ཧོཿ)', and play music. Visualize the Five Buddha Families and the Lama Yidam descending like rain, dissolving from the disciple's crown, and through Om (Tibetan: ཨཱོྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal meaning: Body), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Mind), Tram (Tibetan: ཏྲཱྃ), Hrih (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ), Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal meaning: Birth), Ja (Tibetan: ཛ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ज, Sanskrit Romanization: ja, Literal meaning: Born), Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Mind), Bam (Tibetan: བྃ), Ho (Tibetan: ཧོཿ) invite countless Buddhas of the Five Families to descend and bestow empowerment. After playing music for a while, place the nectar on the tongue. Then, in the southeast of the mandala, place a bouquet of flowers at the center of the crossed vajras. The disciple holds a twig one span high with a silk crest at the top with the tips of both hands in front of the mouth, closes their eyes, and recites: 'I beseech all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Heroes, Dakinis, and all the Protectors to show me the accomplishment.' Then throw the twig onto the bouquet. If it lands in the five positions of the four directions and the center, the accomplishment of that family is obtained; if it lands in the four corners, minor accomplishments are achieved; if it lands on top, supreme accomplishment is achieved; if the root points to oneself, it indicates weak fortune and must be repeated. Then the Dharma is taught: 'Listen, noble sons. Seeing such a mandala is as rare as the Udumbara flower, and entering the Great Vehicle of Secret Mantra with faith is also extremely rare, and practicing mantra is even rarer. Tonight, entering the great mandala and practicing the Secret Mantra Vajrayana is excellent fortune.' As stated in the Sutra of Vairochana's Enlightenment: 'The all-knowing in the world, is like the Udumbara flower, in a hundred paths, it appears only occasionally, or may not appear at all. The appearance of practicing Secret Mantra, is even rarer than that, whoever can do incomparable benefit to sentient beings, can do the unsurpassed. For countless eons, whatever sins were previously committed, as soon as one sees such a mandala, those sins will be exhausted.' What need is there to say if one abides in the endless ways of mantra practice? If one recites the saving mantra, one will attain the unsurpassed state of omniscience in the world. Whoever has unwavering wisdom in this supreme practice, will cut off the evil destinies that are the source of all suffering. Therefore, you will be reborn in the Great Vehicle. This great and supreme path of the Great Vehicle is glorious and complete. You are there...' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
