Raise the knees and support the sides of the cheeks with the palms of both hands, remaining still. When viewing, keep the eyes fixed and look straight ahead at the space between your eyebrows. If you do not practice the lion posture, wisdom will not increase, so be like a lion: kneel with both knees on the ground and lean back slightly. Place both hands on the ground outside the knees and lean back slightly, reducing the weight of the body slightly. Stick the hips out slightly, straighten the spine, and tilt the neck back. When viewing, look slightly forward, aiming at a distance of four fingers. During these actions, do not move the body, and the breath should be very slow. These are the three body postures to practice, and the three ways of viewing with the eyes, fixed by the three immobilities. If you get bored, you can adopt non-aforementioned postures, such as the vulture's crouching posture, the vajra posture, or whatever is comfortable. There are also four ways of viewing, such as the lion, elephant, rabbit, and arrow, as stated in 《Dung Yig Chen》. In short, it is important to view without conceptualization. If you practice in this way for many days, you may realize it directly without needing an introduction. The above is an explanation of the body posture and viewing method, which is the eighth part. Ninth part: Showing the meaning of manifest awareness. Next, I will introduce the method of seeing the meaning of unbornness through three words: When the sky is free of clouds, go to a very secluded place, concentrate awareness on the eyes, and look in the direction of the sun with the above-mentioned viewing method. By viewing the sky in this way, the nature of awareness is called Vajra Chain (藏文:རྡོ་རྗེ་ལུ་གུ་རྒྱུད།), which is as subtle as knots tied on a horse's tail. In the intervals, there are spots of light the size of mustard seeds, with clear colors. By looking at these spots for a long time, spots of light that fill the sky will appear, or two connected spots, etc., in countless numbers. This is called Dharmakaya and the single thigle, which is the oral instruction of the union of body, speech, and mind. This is also called directly meeting the Buddha. This awareness is also related to the viewing eyes, and it follows the direction in which the eyes move, making it difficult to grasp. These subtle thigles also move back and forth. The oral instruction for grasping them is to slightly turn the eyes upward, which is called the lamp of the pure space between the eyebrows, a vast blue area. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The shape appears like the letter 'na ro,' the color appears like a rainbow. This arises from the meeting of the eye and the radiance of the flesh. Focusing on this awareness is called 'the iron hook of grasping,' which is extremely precious. This is introduced with the three phrases: 'Settle the body in this way, and look at the sky in this way.' Initially, by introducing these, it is called the manifestation of awareness, and it is shown as the awareness of insight. Now, it is crucial to understand the reason for seeing this. This is not only spoken of with the support of this awareness, but also extensively in the 'Dung Yig Can' and all other tantric commentaries. However, here, I will briefly show some of the important points: the causes and conditions for the arising of the awareness of the Dharmadhatu, the meaning of delusion and non-delusion, and the reasons and results for putting it into practice. First, there are two causes: among the five divisions of awareness, the nature of the ground-being awareness, the reality of primordial purity possessing three wisdoms, the three emptinesses of the nature of self-arisen compassion, and abiding in the reality of luminosity and unobstructedness. Elsewhere, this is called the Tathagatagarbha (Buddha-nature). Although it itself has no dualistic conceptualization, in self-emptiness, self-luminosity, and self-unobstructedness, like waves in the ocean, it moves unobstructed. From this, the part of wisdom arises in the form of clear appearance and transforms into mind and the six consciousnesses. Although the nature is non-conceptual, in dualistic appearance, there arises the consciousness that distinguishes and thinks. This is generally called in Dharma terms, 'actions conditioned by ignorance, and consciousness conditioned by actions.' Regarding this: 'Deluded wisdom is like a bubble, from the beginning, primordial purity without error, in spontaneous accomplishment without certainty, the way it appears in various forms, is the unobstructed play, doing anything and appearing as anything, is the uncertain manifold appearance.' The reason is shown in four lines. The basis of abiding in this way, is the cause and the seed of delusion, in the part of luminosity, it flows outward, the awareness is clear and bright, ignorance comes from the three, merely the mind turns outward to the part of appearance, appearing with the mind that grasps that place as self.' It is mentioned that the three ignorances are: co-emergent ignorance, which is not recognizing the perfect reality that is pure from the beginning; and other-dependent ignorance, which is not distinguishing the luminosity and appearance of other-dependent arising, not distinguishing emptiness and appearance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
