Therefore, since there is no liberation from the realm of meditative deities, it is determined that nothing is established in the appearance of the exhaustion of dharmata.’ Thus it is said. Even the practitioners of the Six Yogas, not knowing this point, mistakenly cling to seeing the deity of emptiness and form as supreme. The distinctions and explanations of these are extensively discussed in the Seventeen Tantras and the Kalachakra, but enough has been said here. In short, rigpa (觉性) is the object, and yeshe (智慧) is the self-arisen lamp of wisdom, which is the wisdom of the subject. Recognizing and practicing the purity of these two is the key. To say, 'This has no cause or condition,' refers to the essence of these two. If one denies the causes and conditions that are seen in the appearance of dharmadhatu and the deluded thoughts and clinging to characteristics, it would be a mistake. The causes and conditions for the arising of the appearance of dharmadhatu, when applied to the five wisdoms, are extensively discussed by the great teacher Mañjuśrīmitra in the *Ocean of Instructions*. Secondly, regarding delusion and non-delusion, although it has been mentioned in passing before, it will be explained a little here as well: For rigpa (觉性) that clings to characteristics, the desire arises because of the existence of characteristics, and being bound by the true conceptualization as an object, that is delusion, because it is not so in reality. Wisdom that clings to characteristics, the self-arisen lamp of wisdom, is when all objects appear as dharmadhatu and rigpa (觉性), and are inherently empty, and the dualistic conceptualization of object and subject is purified in itself, merging into the nature of pure union, which is non-delusion. It is from this very point that it says: 'The wisdom of the Nirmāṇakāya (化身) has two aspects: knowing the reality of what is to be known, and knowing the meaning of all things.' This is the meaning of the text. The rigpa (觉性) that is the basis, is delusion when accompanied by conceptualization and afflictions, and when freed from the causes of these delusions, it is non-delusion. In essence, all of this is called Ālaya It generates all consciousness when it abides in one's own body, and remains merely in self-illumination.’ Thus it is said. Abiding in the basis, it is delusion when not separated from the obscuring conditions, and its essence abides in the nature of non-delusion. That is the abiding state of essence purity, possessing three wisdoms, all rigpa (觉性) that is not divided by parts abides in the essence of omniscient wisdom, and that wisdom also abides in subtle wisdom.’ Thus it is said. The rigpa (觉性) of higher seeing, if one's own rigpa (觉性) does not recognize itself as the wisdom body, and clings to external conceptualizations, and meaningless things such as rays of light, shapes, and colors, that is a mistake. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To grasp the abodes of the six realms of beings and those who inhabit them as real, and to engage in acceptance and rejection based on this, believing it to be correct, is a delusion. To abide in the awareness of one's own mind, allowing it to self-manifest and self-liberate, is what is called being without delusion. To have perfected the awareness of Tögal (Tibetan: ཐོད་རྒལ་, Meaning: Surpassing the Peak) through practice, its name indicates that delusion is exhausted, attaining the state of fruition, which is being without delusion. This is also called 'abandoning the Dharma,' 'exhausting the Dharma,' 'transcending the Dharma,' and 'liberating from the Dharma.' However, if one generates the thought that both the abode and those who inhabit it are real, or the thought that both are unreal, then at that moment, one is defiled by the awareness of delusion. Third, regarding how to integrate view, practice, and conduct into actual practice: In the moment of directly seeing the Dharmadhatu (Tibetan: དབྱིངས་, Meaning: Space) and Awareness (Tibetan: རིག་པ་, Meaning: Luminosity), the state of the essence where appearance and emptiness are inseparable manifests. Even if one examines it with an awareness that clings to characteristics, one will find that it is in accordance with everything, yet not identical to everything. The nature of mind and wisdom (Tibetan: ཡེ་ཤེས་, Meaning: Primordial Awareness) is neither one nor different, impossible to express in words. This is the definitive view that all states of the ultimate truth (Tibetan: དོན་དམ་, Meaning: Ultimate Truth) and the relative truth (Tibetan: ཀུན་རྫོབ་, Meaning: Relative Truth) are integrated. One must not separate from this practice even for a moment; once separated, it is of no benefit. Through direct perception with the senses, diligence will arise naturally, and thus one meditates. If one practices this without separation or scattering, then bodies and realms will appear as numerous as dust particles. Hearing the sound of the Mahayana Dharma, the six senses are not obstructed, yet one does not generate thoughts of desire. If thoughts of these external objects, desires, and thoughts of the formless realm arise in the mind, one should know that these are delusions, and thus generate the wisdom that knows cause and effect, and not even for a moment generate the mind of the ten non-virtuous actions. This is called conduct. In order for the result—one's own mind connected with wisdom—to manifest, it is called increasing practice. When awareness reaches perfection, no matter where one looks in the three thousand great thousand worlds, light will pervade, and the delusion of dualistic grasping (Tibetan: གཉིས་འཛིན་, Meaning: Grasping at a subject and object) will subside. One obtains the power to do as one wishes, able to benefit all sentient beings. When all dharmas are exhausted, one is free from all the habitual tendencies of dualistic grasping. This is the intention of all the Sugatas of the three times, and there is no practice superior to this. Therefore, when practicing this method, the posture of the body and the way of looking are merely the initial supporting conditions. To integrate the essential point into practice, it is said like this: 'In order to stabilize in the Dharmadhatu, drive the self-peg into all appearances.' As mentioned before, the Dharmadhatu manifests from internal causes and conditions, therefore, one should integrate all appearances such as forms into it, practicing without difference. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
