When awareness wanders and becomes unstable, and the body becomes cold and trembles due to the imbalance of the water element, visualize the red 'Raṃ' (藏文:རཾ,梵文天城体:रं,梵文罗马拟音:raṃ,汉语字面意思:fire seed syllable) in the wheel of assembled senses, blazing, and forcefully control the breath. Meditate on the fire arising from the 'Ha' (藏文:ཧ,梵文天城体:ह,梵文罗马拟音:ha,汉语字面意思:space seed syllable) at the crossroads, pervading the entire body, thereby dispelling the cold. If one feels hot, restless, or has increased bile due to the fault of the fire element, visualize the white and cool 'Khaṃ' (藏文:ཁཾ,梵文天城体:खं,梵文罗马拟音:khaṃ,汉语字面意思:space seed syllable) in the heart or stomach, like ice water, and draw the breath with the sound of 'Sid' (藏文:སིད,梵文天城体:सिद्,梵文罗马拟音:sid,汉语字面意思:accomplishment) and exhale. This will pacify the heat. Although not explicitly stated here, if awareness is scattered by the wind element, surges upward, or symptoms like heart wind arise, visualize the golden 'Laṃ' (藏文:ལཾ,梵文天城体:लं,梵文罗马拟音:laṃ,汉语字面意思:earth seed syllable) at the navel, extremely heavy, and forcefully tighten the lower gate, directing the breath and mind downward, which will undoubtedly be beneficial. This mainly discusses methods for removing obstacles. As for many broken limbs and so on, they are recorded elsewhere. The Lamp of Cutting Proliferation - The Quintessence of the Five Elements' Self-Purification, Part Five ends. Part Six: Differentiating Self and Common Views, Meditation, and Conduct. Next, one should understand the differences between the common Dharma and the Great Perfection's view, meditation, and conduct. Now, it will be explained as if revealing something hidden. First, explaining the common Dharma. First, suppressing appearances with the instruction of unattached conduct: From the perspective of the common Dharma, however one acts, if one abandons the ten non-virtuous actions of body, speech, and mind, does not violate vows and commitments, and acts without attachment to anything, then everything one does becomes Dharma. Through this conduct, one can temporarily attain the status of gods and humans, and ultimately attain Buddhahood. Second, suppressing the mind of remembrance with the instruction of aimless meditation: Meditation in accordance with the common Dharma is that anyone who wishes to practice should go to a solitary place, abandon all worldly affairs, and practice the guru's instructions. Although some have been mentioned before, here the emphasis is on focusing on the mind and meditating. First, maintain the body posture as before, then focus on the thoughts arising in the mind. Fix the gaze on the tip of the nose, and initially do not try to stop the thoughts. If staying in place, visualize a single 'Hūṃ' (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:wrathful seed syllable) inside the body, from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, pervading the entire body, making the body feel empty and light, and maintain awareness. Then, visualize all external objects such as earth, stones, mountains, and rocks, which are solid and heavy, as empty and light, and release them. Then, visualize all appearances as 'Hūṃ' (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:wrathful seed syllable). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

disappearing in an immeasurable way, and focus on the inside and outside of the body like a mirage. Then, like searching for something soft and placing it on the road, direct the syllable 'Hūṃ' (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:seed syllable) at the branch and pebbles in front, and then gather it back. Through this, practice in all the crooked lines, streams, and valleys, and when a thought is about to arise, look at the place where the thought arises, stays, and goes, but cannot find it. Place the thought in a state of self-arisen luminosity, unobstructed equality, and meditate. View all subsequent wisdom thoughts as illusions or mirages. Recognize that the appearing objects are like dreams, and that awareness itself is the reality, and through meditating in this way, one can be connected to Śamatha (止禅) and obtain the cause of Vipaśyanā (观禅). Through practicing in this way, Third, overcoming afflictions through the instruction of viewing without grasping. This is the introduction: In general, all appearing objects are the magical display of the mind, because one does not understand the true workings of thoughts, so the objects of grasping, namely form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and phenomena, appear as external, and one believes them to be real. Similarly, there is no creator, such as 'I', 'Fortune God', or 'Īśvara', but grasping onto things that do not exist as if they do is a delusion. Now, be certain that the external objects of grasping are the magical display of one's own mind. The internal grasping thoughts, whether universal Dharmas or individual characteristics, and the awareness of the six consciousnesses, arising and ceasing in an instant, are empty in their own nature. Even if one searches from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, one cannot find them. The past has ceased, the future has not arisen. Recognize the present awareness that arises suddenly as the inseparability of appearance and emptiness. If there is no grasping to it, then that view is the intention of the Buddha. Whether it is the Mind Section, Space Section, or Instruction Section of Dzogchen, there is no other teaching than this, so realize that one's own mind is the Buddha. The inseparability of appearance and emptiness is the nature of reality. It is on this basis that: 'This cannot be captured by words, Words cannot fully express its meaning. Therefore, it is the single realm of non-knowing, Unseparated from various differences. It is beyond experience, Like the dream of a mute, The sun rising in a cloudless sky, And the rainbow naturally dissolving in the sky.' It is beyond the base, symbols, and actual things, Beyond all indications. Thus it is said. By viewing and realizing this, one can obtain the fruit of the inseparability of the two truths. Fourth, through the instruction of the fruit of no abandonment and no attainment, make self-awareness irreversible. After practicing in this way, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
