Boundless and vast, self-aware and spontaneously perfect. If one clings to self-grasping and partiality, the true meaning is not achieved. Whatever conflicts with the body, speech, and mind of the Three Kayas and Dakinis, I confess and ask for forgiveness! Kagyu lineage lamas, please listen and remember! Although the meaning of emptiness has been shown and self-liberation has been introduced, the experience of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality has not yet arisen. Whatever conflicts with the body, speech, and mind of the Kagyu lineage lamas, I confess and ask for forgiveness! From the Great Perfection Mother Tantra, the Secret Path of the Dakinis, the oral instructions on confession and seeking forgiveness, this is the fifth teaching. May I meet a fortunate and destined one! Seal! Entrust seal! Hidden seal! Profound seal! Concealed seal! Samaya! Seal! Seal! Seal! Khatam! Copied from the yellow scroll unearthed from the cave of Dragyang Dzong Shelphuk by Master Ma Kunga Bum. Instructions on Guru Yoga From the Great Perfection Mother Tantra, the Secret Path of the Dakinis, Instructions on Guru Yoga. Namo Guru Deva Dakini! A lama who possesses samaya, for a disciple who is a suitable vessel, imparts the Guru Yoga of the Secret Path of the Mother Tantra as follows: The disciple offers a mandala, confesses, and asks for forgiveness. Then, one thinks: 'May all sentient beings, as vast as the sky, have happiness, be free from suffering, and quickly attain Buddhahood. For this purpose, I will pray.' The lama is one who possesses ten qualities and has surpassed the ten bhumis (stages of a Bodhisattva); one should rely on such a lama. An intermediate lama is one who possesses six qualities and the six paramitas (perfections); one should rely on such a lama. An inferior lama is one who possesses four qualities and the four immeasurables; one should rely on such a lama. What are the benefits of relying on a lama? In this life, one is free from sudden frights and protected from diseases and evil spirits. In future lives, one will not fall into the lower realms, but will be drawn by the compassionate hook of the lama, and without separation, will go to the great liberation of the realm of the Dakinis. Service and offerings to the lama: The best is to serve through practice; the intermediate is to serve through body and speech; the inferior is to serve through material wealth. How does one request empowerment from the lama? Placing the vase on the head is requesting the outer empowerment; contemplating the generation stage of the body is requesting the inner empowerment; reciting mantras is requesting the secret empowerment; the mind itself appearing as emptiness and clarity is requesting the empowerment of the ultimate meaning. In the Ati Adornment Tantra it says: The kind lama, if one meditates on him at the crown of the head or in the heart, or in the palms of the hands and feet, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Three is equal to the Buddha's meditation,' and 'Even the Buddhas of a thousand kalpas (aeons) arise by relying on the gurus. In the era without gurus, there was not even the name of Buddha. Compared to the Buddhas of a thousand kalpas, offering a single hair of the guru is of greater merit.' When receiving the profound secret mantra teachings, one must cultivate four perceptions towards the guru: regard the guru as a doctor, regard oneself as a patient, regard the Dharma as medicine, and merely by the guru introducing the empty and clear nature of mind, visualize that the illness of samsaric suffering is cured. In this state, sit comfortably on a cushion, with the body in the seven-point posture of Vairochana. Visualize in the space in front of you, the Bhagavan (Blessed One) Khros ma nag mo (Wrathful Black Mother) with a dark blue body, the color of lapis lazuli, radiant with light, adorned with a crown of five dry skulls, wearing a necklace of fifty wet human heads, mouth open, baring fangs, biting down, with three eyes, three wrathful wrinkles on the forehead, and a sow's face grunting on the crown of her head, subduing the three realms, with red-black hair thick like clouds. She wears a wet elephant hide on her upper body, a human skin cloak, and a tiger skin skirt on her lower body, adorned with drops of blood, wearing six bone ornaments. Her right hand holds a curved knife, her left hand holds a blood-filled skull cup, her right leg is bent with the heel pressing against the bhaga (Sanskrit, female genitalia), her left leg is extended, pressing on the heart of a corpse, with a khatvanga (staff) tucked under her left armpit, and visualize her dwelling in the center of a mandala burning with the fire of the end of the kalpa. From the blue Hūṃ (seed syllable) at her heart, rays of light emanate, touching the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, heroes, dakinis, Dharma protectors, and guardians, who dissolve into the Wrathful Mother, and then from the Wrathful Mother's heart, light emanates again, touching the Buddhas, dakinis, and the five classes of dakinis. Visualize the gurus of the secret lineage linked like a string of pearls, inviting them in order up to the root guru, and visualize the root guru not as an ordinary person, but as the embodiment of Vajravarahi, and then visualize her residing on a sun, moon, and eight-petaled lotus on the crown of your head. Then, visualize the light of the guru's compassionate iron hook, a single blue Hūṃ (seed syllable), entering from the crown of your head, grasping the white A (seed syllable), which is the essence of your mind, at your heart, and leading it to the realm of the dakinis, visualizing the guru and yourself as inseparable, and earnestly praying to the gurus of the Kagyu lineage. Pray. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
