He wears a dark blue-black silk cloak with fine patterns, holds a curved knife in his right hand, an iron hook in his left, and rides a black horse. To the east is Palden Lhamo (Śrīdevī, meaning 'Glorious Goddess') dark blue, with one face and four arms, the first two hands holding a sword and a skull bowl filled with blood, the lower two holding a Shakti (meaning 'power', here referring to a weapon) and a banner-spear, wearing a human skin and riding a donkey. To the southeast is the Graha-bhūta Dudkha, with nine heads and two arms, the right hand holding a bow and arrow, the left holding a snake lasso. To the southwest is Damchen Mgar, the red blacksmith, riding a lion, the right hand holding a vajra, the left holding a ram banner. To the northwest is Klu-bdud, black, the right hand holding a divination board, the left holding a snake lasso and a disease basket, with nine snake heads, the lower body being a snake tail. To the northeast is Srog-bdag Gyalchen Pehar, white, with three eyes, the right hand holding a crystal knife, the left holding a heart, wearing a white silk cloak and riding a lion. All of these have a fierce, majestic, and dignified presence. The four doorkeepers are vultures, tigers, Kanka (a kind of bird), and wolves, the right hands holding iron hooks, ropes, iron chains, and bells, the left hands holding Bhanda (meaning 'container'). On the four sides of the outer circle are the four sword-wielding Ging, whose colors, armor, and weapons (swords) match the colors of their respective directions. Ging are not necessarily just skeletal, wrathful figures; it may also originate from 'Kinkara', meaning 'what to do', i.e., servants, which later evolved into Ging, their attire and weapons as mentioned above, having a majestic, fierce, and terrifying presence. The four demons holding divination boards are: to the east, the game demon (Rolpo), the lord of the divination board (Khram-bdag), the life demon (Srog-bdud); to the south, the moon demon (Zla-bdud) Yolpo; and the life demon (Srog-bdud), all holding divination boards. The four diviners holding dice have the colors of their respective directions, holding dice in their hands. The four life-cutting butchers are: to the east, the black butcher of the disease-spreading Mamo, holding poison and a sword in his hands; to the south, the red butcher of the drunken Tsen, holding a Tsen knife in his hand; to the west, the dark blue butcher of the foolish Klu, wearing a snake skin and holding a snake lasso in his hand; to the north, the black butcher of the cruel Gza', the right hand holding a banner-spear, the left hand holding a heart and a rope. These are the four butchers. The colors and mounts (horses) of the four Great Kings (Gyalchen) match the colors of their respective directions, the right hands holding banners, the left hands holding lutes, swords, snake lassos, and clubs. The ten directional guardians are: starting from the east, Indra (帝释天) white, Yama (阎摩) blue, Varuna (水神) white, Yaksa (夜叉) green, Agni (火神) red-yellow, Rakshasa (罗刹) blue-black, Vayu (风神) blue-gray, Isvara (自在天) white, Brahma (梵天) red-yellow, and the goddess Prithvi (坚牢地神) yellow. Their right hands respectively hold a vajra (རྡོ་རྗེ།, वज्र, Vajra, diamond scepter), a skull staff, a snake lasso, a short stick, a stove, a sword, a banner, a trident, a moon, and a vase, and their left hands hold skull bowls. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
