In the mountain cave called 'Seven Leaves' on the mountainside, the great Arhat Nagasena (Dweller in the Forest) resides, surrounded by one thousand four hundred Arhat disciples. I prostrate at all times to his feet. In Zangling, the great Arhat Duralada (Timely) resides, surrounded by one thousand one hundred Arhat disciples. I prostrate at all times to his feet. In Singhaladvipa (Lion Island), the great Arhat Vajramotaputra (Son of Vajra Mother) resides, surrounded by one thousand Arhat disciples. I prostrate at all times to his feet. On the island of the Yamuna River, the great Arhat Bhadra (Excellent) resides, surrounded by one thousand two hundred Arhat disciples. I prostrate at all times to his feet. In the land of Khasa (Kashmir), the great Arhat Hiranyagarbha (Golden Womb) resides, surrounded by five hundred Arhat disciples. I prostrate at all times to his feet. In the northern Uttarakuru (Unpleasant Sound), the great Arhat Bakkula resides, surrounded by nine hundred Arhat disciples. I prostrate at all times to his feet. I prostrate to the great lay practitioner Dharmatala! I offer! I take refuge! I beseech you to bestow your blessings! I prostrate to the Four Great Kings and other Dharma protectors who pledged to protect the teachings in the presence of the Buddha and who uphold the world, possessing the eye of wisdom. I offer! The land, vast and boundless, with a golden foundation, adorned with pools of fragrant water; a vast realm, with great mountains made of various jewels; and continents, subcontinents, sun, moon, palaces of gods and humans, and iron fences; all these are beautiful and exquisitely decorated, to accumulate merit, wisdom, and their results; upon a single atom, manifesting bodies as numerous as atoms, offering them with reverence; please accept them with compassion, and swiftly accomplish all desired purposes! We, countless beings, with pure and increasing intention; with devotion and reverence in body, speech, and mind; by the power of our prostrations, prayers, offerings, and other virtuous roots; may the precious teachings of the Buddha flourish and spread everywhere! From the 'Accomplishment of the Vase of the Gathering of Intentions,' may all obstacles, internal and external, not arise for the holy beings who uphold, propagate, and develop the teachings; may their lives and activities increase and expand! Relying on their compassion and power, may all the faults and obscurations of sentient beings, such as karma and afflictions, be purified, and may they swiftly attain the precious state of unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment!
