Make a yellow wheel, make a red wheel for the Mother. The Garuda's face should point to the right, left, and center, with six surrounding edges and a center. In the center, write the heart essence of the Yidam (deity). On the surrounding edge outside of that, write the heart essence of the Guru (teacher). On the outer surrounding edge of that, write 'ཏདྱ་ཐཱ' (Tibetan, Tadyathā, Sanskrit Devanagari, Tadyathā, Sanskrit Romanization, Thus it is). Write the King of Dharani Mantras. On the outer surrounding edge of that, draw a burning eight-spoked wheel. Write the male mantra for killing enemies. On the four corners, write the female mantra for protection. On the outer surrounding edge of that, write the recitation mantra and mixed food. On the outer surrounding edge of that, draw a burning ten-spoked wheel. Write the mantra that urges the wrathful deities into action. On the rim between the spokes of the wheel, draw the weapon of the Lord of Secrets (Vajrapani). On the outer surrounding edge of that, end with the heart essence of dependent arising, writing in a way that bites the mantra. At the throat, write the body, speech, and mind mantras. On the hands, write the fierce wrathful mantra. Write the ending mantra on the final surrounding edge. Write the male mantra on the right wing. Write the female mantra on the left wing. In the two palms of the Garuda, draw the wheels of the sun and moon. On the back, write the heart essence of dependent arising. Before the writer gets up from the seat, recite all the consecration mantras and twenty-one times the heart essence of dependent arising. After reciting completely, consecrate the barley with mantras, perform the consecration, and give the sun and moon. Wrap it in silk and hang it around the neck. Do not say 'there is a vow'. Do not let it fall into the hands of evil people, and do not pass it on to those without connection. By remembering and reciting the wheel, deity visualization, and mantras, one will surely be able to overcome any disease and weapons. In particular, it can overcome the black plague, it can overcome all coughs, plagues, and all diseases, especially it can overcome red dysentery, it can overcome the inauspiciousness of the year and month and evil directions, it can overcome leprosy, madness, and insanity, it can overcome planets and hailstorms, it can overcome curses, war, and water disasters. Do not say 'there is', this is the vow. Wearing this wheel, one can overcome nine misfortunes, perfectly complete glory and merit, and there is no doubt that one will accomplish whatever one wishes, it is like a wish-fulfilling jewel. With this vajra iron protection, what need is there to say that it can overcome infectious diseases? It can even repel the Lord of Death and demons, therefore it is the vajra that overcomes all. This lord of the four wheels is the precious wheel of the heart essence, from the vase of immortal nectar, as armor to protect body and life, and the lord of the four wheels, writing the unique method of overcoming, therefore it is called 'Wheel of Overcoming'. Again, the precious scroll of the heart essence Athi (Supreme), with just one wheel's method of overcoming, one can overcome all diseases and plagues. Homage to the God of Protection! When putting it inside a Tulku (reincarnate lama), add a little musk, three parts gugul incense, and a little costus root.
