Sea salt, excrement of poisonous insects, round-shaped warming medicine, musk, and old salt should each be ground into a fine powder, mixed with alcohol, and administered. Shoe polish, dog feces, horse manure, reversed male and female pubic hair, flour, and butter should be burned, and the smoke should be inhaled until the nose runs. This will cure it. Herbal poisoning: caused by eating aconite, Thermopsis lanceolata, etc., combined with cold substances. Symptoms include swelling, lockjaw, excessive salivation, weakness in the limbs making it impossible to support the body, profuse sweating, and ears bending backward. Treatment: For aconite poisoning, administer a warm decoction of golden Terminalia chebula, round-shaped warming medicine, and salt. Bleed the jugular and cecal veins. For Thermopsis lanceolata poisoning, administer a decoction of a small amount of borax, Bletilla striata, musk, and golden medicinal ingredients. Instill a mixture of butter and garlic into the nostrils. Bleed the cephalic vein. This will cure it. Water poisoning: caused by drinking rotten water, such as water from decayed leather, or poisonous water. Symptoms include painless swelling, pale complexion and weakness, inability to walk, and shortness of breath. Treatment: Administer a bolus made from the essence of pig fat, old butter, and honey. Slowly induce slight sweating. Reduce water intake. This will cure it. Insect poisoning: Symptoms include spasms and trembling in the lower body, and convulsive 'crackling' sounds. Treatment: Administer a decoction of musk, the root of Rhododendron, Piper cubeba, Alpinia galanga, sea salt, Hyoscyamus niger, Thermopsis lanceolata, natron, and borax. If swelling and pain occur, apply borax to the swollen area. Administer an enema with the smoke of hair, gravel, and graveyard soil (about the size of a thumb joint). If urination is obstructed, bleed the cecal vein. If incontinence occurs, administer water. The mantra for pacifying poisoning in horses and cattle is: Om Mari Kham Svaha (藏文：ཨོཾ་མ་རི་ཁཾ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།，梵文天城体：ओँ मारि खं स्वाहा，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ māri khaṃ svāhā，English literal meaning: Om, Mari, Kham, Svaha.), add the mantra to water and pour it through the nostrils. The mantra for treating equine hernia is: Tadyatha Bongaru Banto Svaha (藏文：ཏདྱ་ཐཱ་བོང་རུ་བན་ཏོ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།，梵文天城体：तद्यथा बोंगरु बन्तो स्वाहा，梵文罗马拟音：tadyathā boṃgaru banto svāhā，English literal meaning: Thus, Bongaru, Banto, Svaha.), add the mantra to bean flour, burn it, and fumigate the nostrils with the smoke to heal. The mantra for pacifying internal parasites is: Om Trilab Trilab Tritri Sat Tresat Svaha (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཏྲི་ལབ་ཏྲི་ལབ་ཏྲི་ཏྲི་སད་ཏྲེ་སད་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།，梵文天城体：ओँ त्रिलब् त्रिलब् त्रित्रि सत् त्रेसत् स्वाहा，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ trilab trilab tritri sat tresat svāhā，English literal meaning: Om, Trilab, Trilab, Tritri, Sat, Tresat, Svaha.), add the mantra to salt and administer it. Homage to the Great Compassionate One! The 'Dza' syllable for protecting the throat is: Both the abbreviated and detailed forms use a single 'child' syllable. The six-syllable mantra is clear and unbroken. Write it with a mixture of ink and glue. Brown sugar, sea salt, and alkali flowers, plus six good medicines and excellent remedies, apply them well. Recite each mantra one hundred times. Visualize your own Acharya, holding a conch horn, with the head and body adorned with a conch wheel. The right hand makes the gesture of granting refuge, and the left hand holds a medicinal print. Visualize the Great Compassionate One on the crown of your head.
