From the depression to the bulge, there is a transverse blood vessel. Lift it with needle and thread and stitch it in the middle. Then insert needles at each 'chag' (unit of measurement) in the four directions of the sacrum. It is effective for the white vein. In short, these diagnostic methods have mostly been proven effective through experience. However, it is important to carefully refer to the practice of what has been seen and heard, and not to make reckless attempts based solely on seeing the book. To check if a horse is poisoned: Pluck a single tail hair, and if it curls up like a thread when burned, it is poisoned; otherwise, it is due to other causes. For poisoning, cauterizing the hip joint, the center of the head, and the tip of the tail is effective. It is said that fumigating with goat's beard and the beard of an old goat is also effective. For a horse with a cold and abdominal distension, cauterize 'lang ther' (transliteration) on the left and right sides. Cover well with a blanket, fumigate with bran, and induce a runny nose, which will be effective. For swelling of the legs of mules and horses, mostly at the 'lang' vein (transliteration), cut one 'khyud' (unit of measurement) upwards from the scrotum. Tie the upper end with thread, cut and bleed from below. Sew the skin with thread and apply mantra water and wound medicine. A tsampa (roasted barley flour) recipe that is beneficial for mouth sores in livestock: Three parts camphor, two parts black peppercorns, one part musk, grind into a fine powder.
